  • My history is similar to yours. I now strictly calorie count so I never feel deprived. I have the best of everything, but in smaller portions. It works. My husband lost 30 lbs just counting calories too. Best of luck to you.
  • I'm 5ft 2. I shoot for 1200 a day but I'm on a ketogenic diet (for MS) so it's hard to get in all those calories and keep my macros in sync.
  • I've found that real life fitness buddies are very hard to come by. The reasons that can't hit the gym or come to yoga are innumerable. Unfortunately online people seem a bit more reliable in showing up regularly. I'll take the support where I can get it.

  • I can't really relate as I have heavy thighs and a smaller upper body, but seeing any change should be encouraging. You gain and lose weight in a pattern based on genetics. Your upper body will catch up. In the meantime enjoy your losses and dress for the figure you currently have. Great job on the weight loss so far!
