I’m so proud of you! You go Girl! For some of you newer folks - she does all of that on top of her work schedule plus she has a five year old and two year old twins!

Welcome! This is a really good group. All of us were newbies once too!

To all, It appears that we have all struggled, for whatever reason with this summer session. Kudos to the group who stuck in there and still weighed in even when results were disappointing. I’m optimistic that fall is going to be better for all of us and we’ll start to see progress. Hang in there! Carol

You are doing fine! Just keep coming back to it. We know logging works. Can’t remember who said it but “ it doesn’t matter how many times we fall down, only how many we get back up”. "....I think the reason we snack when we have cold/allergies is that food tastes different or we can’t taste as well and so we eat more…

How did the bra shopping go?

I’ve noticed that as the weight is coming off, I’m more interested in other aspects of taking care of myself and my personal presentation. I haven’t worn makeup for quite a while, but decided with my new job, to make the effort and am getting new products and watching videos on application for my age. (Side note: Dominique…

The decluttering folks claim that decluttering our living space improves/increases weight loss. **shrug** I’m attached to my stuff. Oh well.
-
I was having that problem and decided to just change my goal to maintenance for this session. Are you just reducing calories? You might try changing you macro ratios. On 1200 calories I was always hungry until I started cutting out carbs. Grape tomatoes and blueberries are my “sweets” of choice now.

Good job to both of you!

You are doing great! Sounds funny to get excited about bras but it’s really important! 15 pounds seems to be about when I drop a size somewhere, (top or bottom) as well.
-
Water add resistance without the impact. Good job!

Ok, this one is bringing out all my middle aged insecurities. Jumping jacks are doable, but made me realize I need better bras. The boob flopping was embarrassing and I was alone. I'm going to keep at the arm circles - I don't remember them burning like that. More crunches, I need WAY more crunches. And if I'm doing the…

No weight for me this week, but I’m getting back on the keto wagon tomorrow. I finally bought a scale (I was using my son’s) but I “lost” my itty bitty screwdriver in the move and can’t get the damn back off to pull the battery tab. I think I’ll jump up from my chair now and walk to the Walmart for one. 😄

Wow! You go girl!

This week got blown out of the water. We accepted an offer on our house a week ago Monday. It closes in 10 days so I’m scrambling to get things packed, tossed and donated. I’m pooped! Hopefully I’m burning more calories than I’m consuming since my eating plan for the week has disintegrated into “eat what’s here” and “grab…

So I issued the challenge and then my week went to hell. I have not stayed with a meal plan since the first day. Yesterday I went on a carb binge and ate almost 2000 calories. **sigh**. How is it going with the rest of you?

Welcome back. I think we all had a rather rough spring with injuries and illness. Most of us maintained or dropped a few. Smithsonianempress outshone us all by running consistently while managing twins. I’m just glad you’re back and ready to go for summer! 😄
-
But it sounds like a good time 😄
-
I’ve never been coordinated enough to do Zumba or aerobics. I’m a hazard to others. All I could do was jump around alot😄
-
Good job!!!

Whatever you are doing obviously works. You are doing awesome. So proud of you!
