Oh my word. Don't "Put" your weight anywhere. Get a cheap wifi scale and just step on it, it automagically gets put anywhere you want. I stepped on the scale this morning, and though I have not looked, that number is here in MFP in the weight section for whenever I want to look at their graph.

Here is where I am @Udare2bu , the first day of week 3. The "recommended" dose. Starter Dose* Take 1 Qsymia 3.75 mg/23 mg capsule once each morning for the first 2 weeks. * You may or may not lose weight during this starter dose period. If not, don’t be discouraged. Move onto the prescribed recommended dose for weight-loss…

GW: 144.7 lbs Weigh In Info - Feb 26, 2024 Last: 243.8 lbs TW: 241.4 lbs Variance: -2.4 lbs Through a nice combination of things, sticking with a plan, things are moving a little bit. I paid my money for a race in seven weeks, and I hope to stick to a consistent exercise regiment, and not eat back…

I'm taking the opportunity to update the two year old "About Me" in my profile...I really enjoyed being active, and make it a part of my social life. Things are always better for me when I'm engaged with my family and friends with activities. After getting to my heaviest, for my first go-round losing weight, though it's a…

Twins, except I am through week two and am coming in around 242 lbs.

Just a happy note: My childhood buddy is at our hometown race today, The Ventura Marathon. He and two of his children are running the half. His son is targeting 1:30:00, his daughter 2:00:00, and he wants to break 3:00:00. That sounds like a good time, I wish I could be there to cheer them on. Good luck fam! Gordon's third…

Five miles is no joke...good on ya. Keep at it!

I KNOW THAT GUY!!!! What's he thinking! Run your own d*mn race and let me run mine! Gawww! A few variables and a few seconds aside, you are in absolute top form. Running at PR speeds. Congratulations, it's so inspiring seeing the work you put in to get there. I can't wait to see what other magic you pull out of your hat.

Great question! I didn't know about the "ignore" and greyed out. I would like this. It would be hard to be perfect in a thread where someone else was going back and forth with them. Maybe greyed out is all we can get. I may give it a try on some of our more "friendly" responders.

I am single, are you saying spouses like to say "I told you so"? 😂 I'm a hard surface runner too. I love a track. On my vacation I found a big housing development up in the hills that was under construction. The roads were cut and graded perfectly smooth for paving. That was the best! No cars and a big wide hilly perfectly…

Cool, welcome. You have found the most welcoming group on all of the Internet.....and with your consistent February log so far you will fit right! Here's to recovery and many good miles ahead!

YES!!!! I run. With no issues, except dealing with all the concerns of friends and loved ones who fear running. You seem like you have traveled a million miles and grown considerable wiser from the PAV8888 who decided to slog seven hours and suffer for three days afterward. "... continued compliance....for as long as…

There is just so much here. Steps like someone is chasing you, and keeping below a reasonable amount since 2015...fantastic. How about "Hikes, Deficits, and Muscles!" resistance training, strength training, muscle building, or weight lifting?
-
How far are you from maintenance on your weight goals? Also, how is your sleeping, do you struggle with it, or are you mostly well rested?
-
Beautiful, I'm glad you have the refinement to have a good hike, stay healthy, and after a hike not have to stay in bed for three days and pop Advil.....that is discernment and progress and wisdom. Love your joints, use them, and listen to them.
-
There are no "bad" knees. Love what you have. Mainly, listen to what you have, use what you have, push what you have, improve what you have. If we don't do this we strain or break what we have...and then things quickly climbed down with no extra credit. Seven one hour hikes seems like a lot of good times, instead of…

I'm keeping the CICO/food logging concept separate from this meds effort here. My medical doctor had me attend a months long set of classes on food, nutrition, health, and wellbeing. The prerequisite to be prescribed this med is to be educated on health and lifestyle change....which they did. To answer your question, I am…

Day 10, no weight change. I might have a little paraesthesia in my fingertips. It might be nothing, I'll check back in. The meds say: * paraesthesia (pins and needles, a pricking, burning, tingling or numbing sensation that's usually felt in the arms, legs, hands or feet.) * dysgeusia (altered tastes: salty, sweet, metalic)

The 2017 book "Why We Sleep: Unlock the Power of Sleep and Dreams." by Dr. Matt Walker was very influential. I love hearing that guy speak. He has a podcast, where he is in the middle of a series on insomnia: https://www.sleepdiplomat.com/podcast Full disclosure: I don't have bad insomnia, just an allies.

Even two days in a row would be a surprise.

Free advice: Type out one or all of your goals here, and you will get a bunch of peers in the same boat as you. Then it becomes a nice supportive place to work on specific things. Good luck.

GW: 144.7 lbs Weigh In Info - Feb 20, 2024 Last: 247.9 lbs TW: 243.8 lbs Variance: -4.1 lbs You were right Dan, a little self compassion and sticking with the process is the ticket. I am pretty grateful I was able to run today. I fought get out, but afterwards I now get to reap the rewards. I have had a lot going on, so I'm patting myself on the back for holding it somewhat together until the storm blows over. Ten Percent Happier podcast. Dan Harris is such a master journalist, his crispy voice kind of belies someone who is so committed to getting a bit better. His guest list is astounding. I am about to listen to his latest episode...I am a regular listener. Today is "An anecdote to autopilot" For you, just to grab bag a…
