Various numbers have importance to me. The weight number, the amount of time doing excercise, the calorie intake numbers in my diary for the foods I eat, etc. My personal health and fitness program is a many pronged approach.

Lactic acid can build up in your muscles when you excercise. It causes muscle soreness/pain.

If you don't eat enough calories to fuel your sport endeavor and your body's basic functions, you probably will have a poor performance. Crash diets can truly make you crash. Like others have said, It is too late to safely lose the weight you feel you need to lose. You would be better off health wise not dieting this time…

Agree.

I would drop the incline altogether. Try increasing speed. Inclines can be hard on the calves. And be sure to hydrate yourself with electrolyte sport drinks, or/and water. If you can eat carbs, eat a banana can sometimes be helpful.

I don't get why three people wooed you on your post of recognizing your food addiction and making changes to your mindset and diet plan to address that issue. I have been battling my own food addiction issues. I have it under control nowadays. But there have been times in my past that eating certain foods produced a…

The Dory rule: "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...". I keep moving my entire workout session.

If you bump up the cardio, you can get a "runners sort of high of endorphins and that might help you not feel hungry all the time. That high of endorphins also boosts metabolism. The endorphins help also with your depression and perhaps pcos hormones.) I would also try recalculating your calorie target. Just to make sure…

First, I would try bumping up the cardio excercise to boost your metabolisim. If you walk slowly pick up the tempo or try mixing jogging and walking if you are able to jog. You need to safely get your heartrate up. Have you thought about joining a local ymca or gym? Great cardio workouts can be had from swimming/water…

Yes. Common in anorexia for example, for their thyroid function to decrease.

Members have been complaining about the concept of free foods ever since the point free foods concept was first introduced. Weight Watchers just keeps doubling down, not listening to those happier with earlier programs where all food was counted and logged. I was one of v those many members who sent letters to weight…

Try to sign up when they have the no activation fee deal. Our YMCA is doing that deal now. They do it often. Saves you 100 dollars if you don't have to pay the no activation fee.

I would go with the Dr's opinion and warning to not lose any weight.

I joined my local ymca and I go almost daily. Because of spine issues I am limited to swimming and recumbent cardio machines (elliptical and bicycle). I swim laps and do water aerobics for the most part. In the water I rarely feel pain and can do things in water I can't do on land. Swimming really uses so many muscles and…

When I am logging my foods and counting their calories I do lose weight. But.. I recently learned when I travel I have to stay disciplined and track what I eat, to the point of logging my foods before I order my food. Even better to plan what I will order before I walk into the door of an eating establishment. Not perfect,…

How could anyone woo Kraft boxed macaroni and cheese? Lol

The thoughts you have shared in this post are the same sorts of thoughts folks with eating disorders have regarding foods and eating them. Please seek help from a clinician/therapist that treats folks with eating disorders. Eating disorders can become deadly. Hugs
-
If I get a hiccup I do my best to track food and excercise during said hiccup. And then get back to what works again.
-
Could well be. Do seek professional help.

1270 is not enough for me, so I swim hard and a lot so I can eat more food.
-
I didn't. 400+ extra calories. And the YMCA is closed, so no swimming for me today also. Tomorrow I will be back in the swing of things. I needed a break anyway..

These words are the kind of things folks with eating/exercising disorders say to defend what they are doing to lose weight (under eating and over excercising.) Have you ever been diagnosed with an eating disorder? If you are going to be exercising so hard you certainly need to not only eat your target calories but also to…

One week at no weight loss is not a plateau. I would say that first you need to check your diary for things like too much sodium, not enough fluids to keep you hydrated and last but certainly not least errors in logging. Constipation and also fluid retention can cause a stall or gain. Check the foods entered in your diary…

Yikes!

I admit it opened my eyes as to how easy it is for myself to pick an unhealthy food while out and about, and I am feeling rushed.

Ketchup and pasta mixed together.

Thin mints. Hard to resist them. And once I start I cannot stop. I substitute a couple dove dark chocolate and mint candies, because I can stick to just 2-3 of those.

I would call you active level.
