If you are eating under the target you well could be underfeeding your body (unless your food measurments are too low, or you are not logging all your food. ) MFP doesn't work as designed if you don't follow its recommendations, after you fill out your settings data accurately. AND then logging your food intake and…

I have never been on a cruise but someday I would love to. I have some suggestions though. 1. Look for the excercise areas on your boat that has things like cardio equipment. Who knows, maybe they have classes. 2. Find a pool on the boat that is big enough for water excercise or swimming. 3. . Walk a bunch on the boat and…

My body needs proteins, fats, and carbs. I work out swimming laps and other water fitness activities. As a serious swimmer, nutrition is very important to keep me healthy, happy, well nourished, and swimming well. The MFP is working well for me. I am eating better, feeling faster and stronger, happier, and slimming/toning.…

I just ate a salty "chili cheese dog" at dairy queen. And got a free ice cream cone to boot. It is still within my targets I love this mfp eating plan.

Water walking to start with. Water therapy? *Talk to Dr or physical therapy before doing any excercise.

Try brown rice for a break. It doesn't ferment in your gut. It is a low residue food. Maybe try the brat diet. I think though you should see your doctor since the bloating is recent onset.

I am thinking it wouldn't hurt to see your doctor about the bloating.

Could you be constipated?

Without enough insulin, you are or like a type 1 diabetic with a serious disease. Even a body not being able to use insulin it has (such as with insulin resistance) is a serious health issue. Our bodies need insulin to survive. Type 1 diabetics have to take injections of insulin for that reason. I don't understand why some…

You do realize logging your food/calorie intake is a key component of the mfp app. You are not really doing mfp for weight loss if you only log some of your foods. Not logging all of what you eat is leading you to inaccurate data on your food intake. I am doubtful your calorie burn during excercise is also accurate. If you…

I do diet soda and Sparkling Flavored spring Water from Walmart. I am addicted to the bubbles also.

I wouldn't drink my calories in a sugar laden soda pop. There is no nutrition whatsoever in a soda. Have you ever watched "My 600 Pound Life", and seen how many of these super morbid obese patients have lots of sugary pops and juices around them to drink? Many are bed bound by their weight, and still they take in enormous…

Exactly. I usually have 2-3 fruits a day. Veggies I am working at increasing (never been a fan, but since they are good for me I know to include some veggies.) And as for the rest of my carb intake, it is usually things like whole grain breads, brown rice, double fiber english muffins, steamed potatoes, beans, chilis. As…

The faster initial weight loss is apt to be mostly fluid (water weight). Typical weight gain for When you first start a food and excercise plan. Hard to say what is going on diet wise without seeing your diary. Could you open your food diary and share your typical daily food intake log (food choices and amounts (in terms…

Agree. Fruits are considered complex carbs. Do you agree that eating a few fruits can serve the purpose? As for Skittles, might be fuel for Marshawn Lynch to go Beastmode. Or for aiding someone having a hypoglycemic episode. I limit my "sugar" intake, and limit high glycemic index foods.

If you are eating to fuel your body and stay both mentally and physically healthy, you wouldn't be eating only 800 kcals a day.

FYI The link to this article I shared yesterday. For copyright issues, it is much better legally to share a link to an article than copying and pasting the article.

On fruit, fruit has vitamins/bioflavnoids/minerals and some fiber, than does refined sugar. Sugar are empty calories, devoid of healthy nutrients except for carbs.

For a walking program, you can break up your excercise into multiple sessions. Say start with 10 mins 3 times a day. When that gets too easy, up your walking to 15 mins three times a day. Each time your excercise starts getting too easy add some more excercise. Later if you desire and are able to healthier you can move up…

Although excercise is good also.

Probably you are off in your calories eaten and calories burned by excercise activity. And maybe on your daily activity level, you could be off there. Also you could be retaining water from too high sodium intake or other medical reasons. Hard to say. But the suggestion to examine your diet logging and measuring calorie…
