after several OPs and menopause I have gained so much weight! I have not been this heavy since I was pregnant 16 years ago! I feel ok about myself but not the way I feel moving. I made some good decisions while on vacation, and managed to avoid wine and dessert during a business dinner..and I didn't have the feeling I was 'doing without' because I just kept thinking about how good I would feel the next day.. this week was hard due to lots of schedule changes...hard to have set meals...however, doing the food diary every day has trained me to think in advance about how many calories/ how much sugar, fat, etc. I might be eating even if I cannot write it down immediately.
