I usually just divide the actual amount by the serving size. For your example, if the serving size is one cup and you only ate half a cup, just put 0.5 as the amount you log.

Hi Gabbie. I had to lose 50+ pounds to reach my target to enlist in the Navy (many moons ago.) It was one of the best decisions I ever made. You can do it! And thanks for your willingness to serve.^^
