@ @janejellyroll Thanks so much for your comment! I do eat a lot of lentils and I'm not to be trusted alone with a tub of hummus 😂 I could probably do with eating more beans, though (and less bread to keep the carbs balanced, booooo!)

I sometimes struggle hitting my calorie goals too; my go-to snack is dry roasted soy nuts at the moment! Just soak some soy beans overnight, drain, dry, salt and stick into the oven until crispy. They're also super-cheap and are a wonderful little protein-and-carb boost for after a workout!

@moonangel12 Thank you so much for the fantastic advice, and it was great to hear insight from someone else with a chronic illness.
