You're weight gain during pregnancy is quite normal. Also pregnancy can make you retain water weight. With my first I "gained" 70 pounds it was 40+ pounds of water because of preeclampsia. I don't think its recommened to lose weight or be on a restricted diet while pregnant. Have you consulted your doctor?

I consider nothing I eat as cheating or bad. So no. Some days I go over my cals. Someday I give myself a treat. How often depends on what's happening. Maybe I'm at a social event or my husband decides to take me out on a date. I don't plan going over usually. But sometimes it happens.
