I haven't used MFP for months and months. What's happened to it?

I take benadryl or I struggle

Try only weighing yourself once a month or every 2 weeks. You're gonna fluctuate day to day. And if that discourages you then stay off the scale. The scale is one tool for weight loss and fitness. Try focusing on small goals beyond the scale. Take body measurements monthly too. Celebrate walking farther or when you canβ¦

That is awesome! Congratulations. I've definitely noticed my drinking has been over the top and not helping me get back on track with my health!

41 here just coming back. On day 13. Looking for kind, no judgment, encouraging friends. I have 90 more pounds to lose. I'm not great at keeping up in the forums. Oh and I'm working on 30 days free from alcohol I'm on day 12.

It happens. Some weeks you'll lose nothing other weeks 1 pound sometimes 4. Try to measure other things beside weightloss. The scale is only one tool of measurement for fitness. Things to celebrate measurements do those once a month, increase in stamina on a walk or bike ride or whatever your preferred cardio exercise.β¦

Yup stopped working last night. Still down! Thankfully I just added a bunch of my friends to my fitbit. This app has been so glitchy it seems to be getting worse and worse.

Why not just talk to her about it. Ask her if she wants to continue it. Maybe she just started with you to support you. Or maybe she thought she liked the program at first but got into and realized it wasn't working for her. If you bring it up and it doesn't seem to go anywhere just leave it alone and do your thing.

Hi I turned 40 this past year. Mom of 4 married 15 years. In my early 30s I had 50lbs to lose had some seizure like events while working out. Was told no more exercise from many specialists. Got super depressed gained 60 more pounds. This past I said I'm done not living like this. So last year I started walk 10 minutes aβ¦

I put my ear buds in and go for it. Gym or local trail. I'm getting fit for me. You just got to stop caring what everyone else sees when they see you. Start caring more about yourself, your why, your goal and keep focus on that. Nothing else matters.

Oddly enough the jeans that fit me best right now are from Walmart. I take my 11 year shopping with me she tells it like it is and has great suggestions. Even my 20 year olds go to her for help lol. Back in the day before I gained the weight low rise were my friend. But now 20 years later a higher rise is the way to go forβ¦

Is something triggering you to struggle more? I know what you mean. I have ups and downs. I'm always trying like hell to stay on the up side. I have positive quotes, try to give myself positive pep talks and surround myself in positive people and things. But when the beast gets ahold nothing seems to work. This last yearβ¦

I definitely suffer from depression and anxiety and have most of my life. I'm turning 40 this year and I finally decided I needed to talk to my doctor. I too either starve or binge eat when I can't get my emotions under control! Not eating is just as frustrating as over eating for me! I've also been working very hard onβ¦

You also need to understand that even having a "perfect" week sometimes logging is off or your hormones are wacky and you just don't lose that week. Or maybe your sodium is way high because you ate out. Just keep logging and stay in your cals the best you can week after week and you'll lose weight. Yup some weeks you won'tβ¦

I have 72lbs to go. I've lost 38lbs since November. Once I hit goal I will have lost 110lbs π So excited for that moment to come! I have 10 more pounds to get my BMI out of the obese range!
-
Truth! The most successful people have failed the most. The difference is they dust themselves off and keep moving forward. Learning from their missteps and eventually achieving their goals! Sometimes goals change and that's ok too!

When you scan thing double check the lable vrs the database its not always right. I have months of no loss then weeks of large losses. Just keep logging and it will work. The process isn't always fast and simple but its worth it. It took time for your weight to come on its gonna take even more time to lose itβ¦

Never feel bad for sticking to your plans on being healthy. Let them know you appreciate the gesture but you are working on improving your health and need to stay on track. Ask for them to support you. Maybe spend time going for walk or something active instead of based on food.
