I’m the same way. 48 and 5’2” and if I ate my exercise calories back, I wouldn’t lose but would gain it back. I did discover since getting my Apple Watch that MFP way over estimated my exercise calories burned. It gave me 500 for every spin class but depending on how intense I went during class, it varies from 300-500. If…

Are you “eating back” your exercise calories? I find MFP tends to over estimate calories burned. Today I did a Zumba class and it said 600 calories burned. Since I spent half the class tripping over my feet, I seriously doubt I burned that many. Personally I don’t eat my exercise calories back.

Ok here goes. I’m 168 and hoping to get somewhere in the 130’s. I joined a fitness center that just opened and I love it. They have a 6 week challenge and I sucked it up and spent the money hoping it will help me be accountable to someone for a couple of weeks until I’ve gotten into the habit. I’ve been doing spinning…

I donated a lot of mine but I have a couple pairs of “goal” pants that I have hanging next to my treadmill for motivation

As someone who has looked into adoption. It all depends on the agency and sometimes the country. There are agencies who won’t let you adopt with them if you aren’t the right religion, too fat, health issues or a history of depression. Some countries have limits on BMI, income, mental health etc.

I found C25k boring. I love zombie run. They have zombie run and zombie run 5k. You get a story mixed in with you music and occasionally you get zombie chases where you have to pick it up for a few minutes to out run the zombies. I get my best 5k times when using that app. 😂😂 the zombies make a difference

The best way to start is to start reading labels. There is sugar in almost every processed food. Unless you change your diet drastically overnight, start by cutting out the processed foods. I love peanut butter and luckily it’s getting easier to find it without added sugar. I’ve been cutting out sugar in a slow process.…

I did WW years ago and lost 30lbs and hit my goal. Then I got pregnant 😂😂 Tried it again and lost some. Tried it last year and didn’t lose a pound on the new system. Started tracking with both WW app and MFP. I was hitting my calorie goal on MFP before I hit my point limit for the day. Even exercising I wasn’t losing on WW…

I did WW years ago and hit my goal weight. Then I got pregnant. I have attempted WW since they have changed the plans. I did OK on the system they had 4 years ago but tried again last year before they switched to the freestyle plan. I lost 5 pounds.... by logging WW and MFP at the same time, I figured out on WW that I was…

Same issue here and it’s making me crazy. I did 11,000 steps today and MFP is only showing 5,000 😡

I’ve just started making my own breads. So far I’ve only tried white breads. I did this one first and hand kneaded it. It was a bit dense but good. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/6788/amish-white-bread/ Then my dad gave me my mom’s bread machine. I used a recipe out it and it was decent. I’m loving the suggestions.

11 years ago, my boyfriend of 8 years dumped me for a younger skinnier girl. I was devastated. A couple of months later, when the fog cleared, I realized just how toxic that relationship had been. Then an online friend decided to come visit the US. I was expecting a couple of weeks of showing him around Atlanta and having…

My son is incredibly picky. Thank the heavens for pediasure. I’m not too terribly picky but I find myself in a similar rut with variety when it comes to eating healthy. Have you tried visiting an international farmers market? They have various different forms of similar items. For example: if you like sweet potatoes, there…

The sodium intake from frozen meals can be insane. I try and watch my sodium intake since HBP runs in the family. I did the LC and WW meals because they were convenient. Now I grab some chicken breast (or fish fillets) and frozen veggies. Cook everything up, measure everything out and make my own lunches for the week. I…
