Margie- That is AWESOME!! Keep it up. You are doing fantastic. Everyone else that has lost this week too, we've only got one more week to go before we can change the menu up. Let's do this! We are doing great so far. I've lost 5 lbs this week. Awesome! I almost can't believe it because I have been trying so hard the last…

Hey girls! Glad everyone is doing well so far. Eddymeese- So sorry, hun, that you are having to go through all this. Good for you, though, for not turning to food for comfort. I've done well for 5 days. I had a NSV tonight as I was invited to go out to eat with a group of people from my TOPS meeting. Someone suggested…

Yes, apology needed. I have my first test Saturday as I am going to a bday party and there will be NOTHING there I can eat so I will either have to eat before or take something with me or both. Lol, I guess I need to have something for a backup just in case I get antsy while everyone is enjoying cake and ice cream and…

Looks like everyone had a great start food wise. I need to start back my exercising. I was walking with my sister but it's been raining here the last few days. What I had today: B: 4 small ham, cheese, broccoli egg cups, 1/2 c cottage cheese, coffee w/ SF cream L: shrimp with veggie medley (had to pick out corn and…

Great idea! I love stuff like this!!

Caliecat, I don't think carrots are allowed on phase one because of their sugar content, but I think we can go back to them in phase 2.

This particular lite ranch has 2g sugar per 2 Tbsp. I decided to have a little snack tonight so I have made me a cup of decaf coffee and I am trying the recipe in the book for the Mocha ricotta creme. It's pretty good. I didn't know how it was going to be eating ricotta cheese for dessert.

Well, I went ahead and started today. First day down. I did well today. Here's is what my day of food looked like: B: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, slice of cheese, coffee with sugar free creamer L: can of tuna in water (drained) mixed with 2 slices pickles diced, 3 jalepenos diced, 1 Tbsp olive oil mayo,…

Welcome! I think we will all find much encouragement here. Glad you came aboard!

This is a portion of what I bought. It includes eggs, part skim ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, lowfat laughing cow cheese, string cheese, raw cauliflower and sweet bell peppers, 1% milk, sugar free jello, turkey bacon, canadian bacon, and grape tomatoes. I also got (but not pictured) some medium sized shrimp, tilipia,…

I was going to try to start today, but got derailed. I might just go for it tomorrow too!

Hi everyone! I just joined the group today. I've been researching options for me since I believe I could quite possibly be insulin resistent. I found the South Beach Diet book at a local discount bookstore today for only $3! I think this would be perfect for me. I know the first 2 weeks are going to be extremely tough for…

Yes, I fit the bill too. 5'5" and weighed in at 212 this morning. I've been totally demotivated lately, but looking to get back on track. I joined TOPS a couple of weeks ago to maybe help motivate me. I'm the youngest member there, but it doesn't matter if they give me support that I need. Anyone feel free to add me. ETA:…

You look amazing and so much happier! Great job!

Thanks for the replies. I agree that I need to track my food. It's just making myself get back in the habit of doing it. It was so much easier when I was working and could log in every single day. I do have the app on my phone so I just need to stop making excuses and log my food. I thought my HRM was accurate because it…

My favorite is just really simple. I put fresh tomatoes, onion, lemon juice, minced garlic, cilantro, pickled jalepenos (all to taste) with a little salt and blend to desired consistency. Love!

You look stunning! I wouldn't worry so much about hitting a certain number if you feel great where you are. Great work and congratulations on your weight loss!!
-
Congrats! I know you are so proud. That is one of my fitness goals as well is to completely run a 5K. Can't wait until I get there!
-
Wow! Great job. I can see a major difference. Keep it up!!

I would think it's because when you are power walking your feet travel faster than when on the elliptical. The motion of your feet on the elliptical are making a full circle around. You don't walk like that. I could be wrong, but it sounds like a good explanation. :-)

I just rejoined WW about 3 weeks ago. Not doing super, but we've had bday parties and Vday in between there and I am still struggling with resisting what I shouldn't be having. I mainly rejoined because I need that accountability to have to weigh in front of someone. I'm giving myself 2 mths and if I don't lose weight I…

Tom Welling Ian Somerhalder Neve Campbell Courtney Cox Clearly I have a thing for dark hair! Funny thing is most of the people I dated and my hubby now, have all been blonde hair and blue eyes. ETA: Tried to edit to reduce size. Hope it worked.
