  • Parents should choose in primary school (US K-6). They should be open to feedback from their kids though. I also think by age 9, children can start packing their own lunches with some supervision. Children should choose in secondary school as they are old enough to prepare their own lunches.

  • I am! I was borderline obese BMI when I started my weight loss journey in December. I have about 17 lbs left to lose (maybe 27 lbs? still debating my ultimate goal weight). Women gain anywhere from 30 to 50 lbs and I didn't want to start a pregnancy at an obese BMI only to add more weight.
