By nutritionalist I hope you mean registered dietitian. I see a RD every six weeks. At each visit, she does measurements with tape, calipers, scale. We go over the planned diet from the appointment belofe, tweak it if we need to. One rule. A lot of what I have to do is counter-intuitive. So, I am not allowed to use a scale…

10 lbs of weight or fat? Fat 10 lbs in a month, not possible. 10x3500 = 35000 caloric deficit.... /30 = 1166 deficit a day. 5 pounds, with proper diet and raining, is manageable maybe even sustainable. Sustainability is key.

Different strokes for different folks. But seriously Dude, I will give you an important piece of advice. Do not worry about it. Instead, look at your life style and make sure the person you choose shares it, as well as your most important hobbies. Women, so I have been told, value confidence and a sense of humor over looks…

This never gets old. Scales are *kitten*! Tape measure is a trues indicator of success. Scales do not take into accout, mater, muscle mass vs fat mass, waste. I see a registered dietitian every six weeks, and we never use the scale. My cats last gift to me was to urinate on my digital scale and kill it.

While its true, medication does not prevent weight loss, but, it can increase appitite (yeah I cant spell, but I am fine with that). Anyways, you need to control that aspect. And while what most of these people are saying is correct, they should use more decorum in presenting their answers. (although some make me laugh).…

Agree! But, make sure it is a Registered Dietitian. They have to have the RD designation. This means they did their university degree and completed their stages in clinical settings. RD is a protected designation. Anyone and their grandma can say they are a nutritionalist (spelling)... Anyways, find one that has a strong…

Honestly, and this is MY opinion, not going to argue it, but, if you really want to get a six pack, you need to find a Registered dietitian, who has a track record for getting people to that point, and follow their instructions to the letter. Thats the route I am taking and I am closer to this goal than I have been in my…

I have powerblocks. Expensive but they are awesome.

If you remember all the info on the foods you eat, you do not need to log. I do it even though I eat the same things every day except dinner. But I know I keep 1000 cals for night time. Dicipline is key

If you are going to get dumbbells I would suggest spending the $$$$ on powerblocks. http://www.powerblock.com/ expensive, but if you are committed, the best investment ever.

I have the same problem, but I refuse. She brings home donuts, they go stale on the table. They go to DQ, they go without me. As my daughter says, nobody forced you to drink the shake DAddy. Just outright refuse to consume.

I weigh myself every six weeks when I go to the dietitian. I log, mostly.

Tape measure and calipers are the only true measurement that matters. scales lie.

You look solid man. Good job so far. It all depends on what you want to do first. You can cut and then bulk, or bulk then cut, or attempt to clean bulk, minimize additional fat and lower the bf% by upping the muscle %. But, you need to decide, they make your game plan.

Lower belly is the real *kitten*. It truly is the last to go. I am at 9.2% bf, I still have 6 centimeters to go. because of my body type. MY dietitian calculated with her formulas that for me to see abszzzz, I need to go to 5.7%. Now, that sounds ridiculously low, but, I am putting on 1.2 pounds of muscle for every pound…
