Men can either do belly button or .5 inch above. Whatever is your smallest measurement is probably accurate.

I do this too sometimes. Well, when the gyms were open. I don't have much left to lose, so I just eat right around maintence and whatever I burn becomes my deficit.

Have a cheat meal instead of a cheat day. I don't like the words "cheat day" because you can easily erase 2-3 weeks of hard work in one full day. If you feel like cheating (and cant fit it into your macros) just do a cheat meal. 1000-1500 over your daily budget won't be the worst thing in the long term. Sometimes I feel…

Just log a couple items to keep your streak going, then take a day off. Eat light but something that satisfies you. This app doesn't appear to be going anywhere. It will be here tomorrow.

Drinking water doesn't directly cause weight loss. But it drinking more water could absolutely help you lose weight.
-
Easy answer, it's possible. Drinking more water could lead to eating less. So yes.
-
Can't believe i've lost more weight without the gym then i was with it. Insane.

You are honestly over thinking it. Don't make it a habbit. You hardly gained half a pound of fat at 4k. For your age, height and weight you have a good BMI. A day like this isn't going to kill you. You could have done worse tbh. Most fitness people have cheat days that well exceed over that amount for cheat days.

Once in a while i'll go heavier on protein for a few weeks and lighter on the carbs. Not for any health reasons, just because proteins and fats keep me fuller longer. I always go back to carbs in some capacity though.

If you are gaining weight you are not in a caloric deficit. If the long term trend has been down, and you start to go up that's normal. My weight can be up or down 5-6 lbs depending on many things. Eventually if I keep eating what MFP tells me too, i'll get the lower # more consecutively. You are down 38 lb's in a couple…

What's a crisp?

The keto line tastes like garbage tbh. Is there a new version of lower calorie ice cream that's competing with halo top? Artic Zero? I always have 2-3 in my freezer at a time.

Not healthy. I did this and actually got a warning for even suggesting it. I wouldn't over compliment it. If you want to do a zig zag deficit (some days 500 less, some days 250 less, some days maintence) ect depending on your needs, that would work much better than just not eating a day.

A gyro and a slice of pizza.

Myfitnesspal journey prepared me for this. Been drinking almond milk for two years. That May expiration date welcomes the quarantine.
-
Nah I still indulge. I had a infamous Whopper thread. Its healthy to talk things out.
-
Thanks. I appreciate that but part of my mindset i have is because i'm still in a deficit. Maybe when I get that 250 calories back i can squeeze in a "treat".
-
Thank you. Maybe I shouldn't have said "these ppl clearly don't need to be eating cookies " i get how that can make me look like an *kitten*. Its just when I'm so close to GW range of 145-150, I'm focused and dedicated. I'm not going to get there by eating cookies. But I guess calling foods "bad" is triggering? My meals…
-
GOOD. Keep the treats away. lol

LOL of course i wasn't rude to any of their faces.. that's why I'm venting to you guys. I appreciate the gesture, I just don't understand office culture. Like when people bring in donuts thats another 400 calories min on top of what they have for breakfast (yes im assuming ppl eat breakfast) . And for me one cookie leads…

Went from 5"6 218lb to 153lb as of this morning. Been logging almost 600 days straight. I've had ups, downs, plateaus ect. Just saying if i ate the garbage brought into work every day.. no progress would be made
-
lol how did this turn into me venting about office snacks to me getting attacked
-
It was kashi snookerdoodle
-
Just enjoy yourself and try again tomorrow lol

Measured my waist and it was just at if not a centimeter over the 31. Which with a 30 waist size makes sense.
-
Its barely over 31. Not much of a difference.

In terms of losing weight. Yes. 1,000 calories of chocolate bars is the same as 1,000 calories of asparagus. In terms of keeping you full, though than no. Some calories depending on the source they come from won't satisfy you which will lead to consuming more calories. Everyone is different though for what macros or food…
-
My problem with BMI is that it claims a 5"6 male and a '5"6 female should have the same "healthy weight range"
-
No need to be rude. I asked for breakfast grab and go and you described how i would i would pack a lunch with a "wrap"

If you plan on getting drunk set your goals to gain 1lbs a week for JUST that day only. That will give you 500 calories above maintenance for the day for those deep fried appetizers, chips and dips, and if you switch back to a deficit the following day you'll not go into red.
