Depends on the budget. I mean get your meat, frozen vegetables and some kind of rice/bean/pasta and that covers your protein/carbs/fats right there. That's as basic as it gets. Cook a large meal for a family of 3-4 (really just for you) then divide it up into tupperwear for several meals.

Look at it as an hour of exercise to eat an extra 150 to 200 calories. That could be a protein bar, dressing for salad, butter or cheese for a sammie w.e. basically an hour to get some flavor in your food

I losted. 3lbs. Time for leftovers.
-
A day goes by and i'm moved on.
-
I weighed on of those pre sliced cheese cakes. It said 8 servings per container. (cut into 8 servings) But based on weight and volume it was about 11 servings... sneaky sneaky

Nah, just don't over think it. Log it as being over your deficit, enjoy yourself, then start fresh tomorrow. You probably dont want to know.
-
It's around that number. Just like 2000 calories a day for women and 2500 calories a day for men to "maintain and be healthy" are general guidelines on nutrition labels. 3500 is a general guideline. It's very safe logic though that eating 500 calories less or 500 calories will generally make you lose or gain around a lb.…

Yes... i've been logging for over 1,050 days and i have zero friends. Solves everything. Do my stuff solo, lurk the forums.
-
Dont over think it and avoid the scale for 2-3 days, if you cant help yourself know the higher number is temporary.
-
2 meals a day or 10 meals a day. Doesn't matter. deficit matters. Do what works for you.
-
When you log a lot, its easy to give a rough estimate depending on what you eat. My thing is if I'm eating out with friends i'll estimate it best to my ability... then just log in an additional 4-500 calories for "hidden calories" and call it a wash lmfao. Just log, and learn from it tbh. but planning around it is also…

Fruit with a pit I don't weigh. Peaches, Fuji apples ect. I just do the standard medium size and move on. I intentionally leave 50-100 calories under to leave room for logging errors. Protein bars I don't weigh either. I just scan the individual packages. If the package says 90 calories, I might weigh it and its 85 or 95.…

The last 5lbs to lose are the hardest because of how insanely accurate you have to be. For me its taken me almost 6 months to go from the 160-165 range to the 155-160 range. Will probably be even longer to get to 150-155.
-
So the less you have to lose the more often you should do diet breaks? Can somebody break that down? Is that why the last 5-10lbs are the hardest to lose? Not taking enough breaks?
-
Maybe get a peanut butter substitute like PB2 and see if you like the taste. It's way easier to weigh and I feel like you get more out of it. It's a powder you mix with water and you can "lighten it up" and get more by adding a little extra water that is zero calories.
-
are you blending the frozen strawberries with the premier protein?
-
I Zig Zag. I love it. It allows me more calories on a day where I want to go on a date, get a drink with friends, have a family bbq or want to devour a pint of halo top ice cream if i'm having a bad day. Mine is similar to you, but one or twice a week I eat just above the bare minimum 1500-1600 calories, to REALLY save up…

Gonna be tough since vegetarian protein sources are higher in calories (nuts and seeds) , but it can be done. As for weight loss its about calorie deficit and not so much macros.
-
LOL I meantt more so the 5-6 pounds of temporary water retention I'm going through due to fathers day lmfao. I knew I shouldn't have even looked until ab out a week after a feast of ribs, sausages, home made fries, key lime pie with melted recees cups... If anything I'm probably only 2k over maintence that day, if that...…
-
Right but being on the far end of the range, puts you literally one "bad" meal away from being considered overweight again. Which isn't a comfortable spot to be in.
-
Yes it's okay.
-
Never looked at peanut butter the same way again after this food scale. Calorie wise, you get more bang for your buck metaphorically from cream cheese.
-
I ate about a half slab too many ribs and a slice of key lime pie for father's day yesterday. This is why folks it's not the worst idea to save up some calories if you know you got a big event coming up lmfao.
-
Still hardly anyone wearing masks in stores, and florida is about to close again. Getting scared.
-
If I want to save up I wont go below 1400-1500 (mfp only lets u do 1500 for guys anyway) i assume 1300 for girls?
-
It's father's day. I'm eating a full slab of ribs. Dont even care lol.
-
12-2pm.

I weigh in daily to avoid losing momentum. Everyone is different. But for me if I only do it weekly, and the one day of the week I step on the scale happens to be the day I'm actually up a couple of lb's I'm conditioned to know its just part of the wave.
-
Here is mine over the course of a month set at a .5lb deficit. Yes fluctuates are normal. Though in the last month i've barely lost over a lb, but i'm at the point where the simplest logging error can hinder it. Typically I have more spikes, I guess this month I was lucky to only have 2 days where i was about 4-5lbs…

Same that's why its best to go by waist size and how clothes fit to assist accuracy.
