Yes but are these cupcakes made from free range eggs ?

Protein powder, protein bars

I'm an equalitymorph and know that stereotypes do nothing to fix things and that bringing them up only makes one seem ignorant and oblivious to the world around them.
-
Agreed. Race doesn't need to come into the conversation about somatotypes.
-
This is actually quite offensive. Mixing race into a conversation about somatotypes is missing the entire point. You seem to be confusing genetics with woo. If you'd like to make some point about somatotypes for arguments sake, surely you can do it without comparing African American women to Caucasian women.

What evidence can I trust? Nothing from taubes.

Ya we know already. We're all IR because we love the evil carbs even though have great panels each year. We're clueless carb peddlers because we don't drink whipping cream and oil in the morning and our tanned buff bodies don't make us healthy because we are evil carb lovers..... yeppers..... Still waiting on those…

I know a few teen athletes that track to make sure they are getting enough protein which is very important. I think it's up to their parents to decide what is right and wrong for them and what websites they should not be using. There's many reasons why a teen may be tracking calories.

Why would you think healthy eating would create weight loss? I could eat all the healthy foods that I want and still gain weight. Weight loss is about creating a caloric deficit. It sounds like you may need to go back and read the stickies in the beginning of the forum.
-
Hello and welcome. I remember how hard it was in the beginning. It really does suck but it gets easier in time. If I could do it, so can you! Here's what I did- Get yourself a food scale. Learn how to log your foods here on mfp accurately. Don't fall into the trap of fad diets or gimmicks. There's no need to go keto, Paleo…

We are humans so I guess you could say we are all addicted to food being that we need it to live. Going on fad diets and multi level marketing scams isn't the way to Long term success. It'll just lead you down the rabbit hole. If you want lasting success, you'll have to actually work for it. Learning portion control and…

You are correct that certain people shouldn't reproduce.

Weight loss isn't linear. Trust the process. Use a trend weight.
-
I'm 5'9 and like to be around 135-145. I give myself a little wiggle room and use a bigger range . Right now I'm 143 .
-
Mfp is as accurate as you make it. You enter the info ( or your connected devices do) If something isn't adding up then you need to backtrack and see where and what is going wrong. If you are not losing then you are not creating a calorie deficit.
-
Rice and beans! You can season it differently so you won't get bored. Oatmeal is always good. Pasta. It's cheap and fills me up quickly so I don't need a whole lot of it.
-
When's the last time you have had a pap smear or been to the obgyn ?
-
If you are not willing to show us a picture, it's nearly impossible for us to assess the situation and see if we can help. I think a trip to the doctor is the best idea. Let the doctor know your concerns.

Hello and welcome!
-
Come back and create a thread if you have any other questions about the app. There's tons of people here that will try their best to help. It's hard being new and getting everything worked out. We've all been there.
-
I wanted to add that it's a careful balancing act. You don't want to eat too much and knock out your deficit but you certainly don't want to eat too little either. It's going to be a different number for each breastfeeding woman so it might take a little time to find what works best for you.
-
Unfortunately there's no way for this app to account for breastfeeding. Most people add on a few hundred extra per day and then reassess after a month. One of my mfp buddies would add on 400 extra per day and another added on 200 per day . You may have to play around with your numbers and see which works best for you.
-
Hello and welcome! What calorie intake did mfp set you up with when you entered your info? A lot of people make the mistake of picking 2 lbs per week loss and that's just too aggressive for many people. Your said you would like to lose around 50 lbs so maybe you would do better with 1 lb per week instead. When signing up,…

Have you been to a doctor about this? It might also be helpful if you post a pic. You don't have to include your face.
-
Why are you assuming that we haven't mentioned this to friends and family members? Besides we haven't mentioned any names. It's a message board, it's not like we are saying 100proof Jones from 124 main St in Sacramento is a woo lover. That would be against the rules. Talking about ridiculous weight loss schemes is bringing…

I don't log daily activities like that. Walking to the mailbox or cleaning my tub is stuff that I do every day no matter what. It's accounted for already in my calories.
-
One person told me that people can consume any amount of calories that they wish and won't gain weight as long as they are in ketosis. I asked if they meant that they could consistently create a calorie surplus and not gain and they answered yes. ( LMAO) They drank coffee with oil and whipping cream mixed in all day long.…
-
I disagree. I think posts like this can be helpful. A lot of newcomers show up here not knowing that there's tons of misinformation (aka woo) floating around. People spread misinformation daily and I think it's great to call them on it. It helps people who might not know better yet. They'll see that weight loss really…

This morning I had a medium banana and a protein shake. Yesterday I had an oatmeal packet and Greek yogurt. I often have protein bars too.

10 days? Trust the process and don't sweat it. Weight loss isn't linear. You won't see a loss every week or every other week always. Another thing to think about is- are you holding onto water weight? Things like hormones TOM , sore muscles, salty foods can all contribute to holding onto water weight at times. don't worry…
