Net carbs are carb number - fiber number. So avocado is maybe 11 carbs - 8 fiber in avocado = 3 net carbs. Fill in calories with butter or oils. Add tablespoons of butter or oils into your meals. We eat it. It's nice and convenient. We try to find the lowest sugar/carb kinds. We have always loved lunchmeat sandwiches so that is a tough adjustment.

I cut back using lots of HWC. The first week was the worst. I found I now like unsweetened coffee but gotta have the creaminess. Wish I could just drink it black.

One thing I like about eating this way is that the fat is tastier and I feel more satisfied. I've been on it the same amount of time and have lost 10 pounds and it has been up and down for the last 2 weeks but I'm pretty happy with the foods I eat and I'm not addicted to sugar.

IMO there isn't one way to do most anything. You do what you have to do for your lifestyle and, if that works for you, live it. Be happy! <3
