This weekend was great!! I finally got back to lifting after several weeks of taking it easy on weight machines. Didn't go super heavy cause I'm trying to ease into things just to be sure my back can fully handle it...but even a 65 lb squat and an 85 lb deadlift felt great. I've honestly just accepted that it's a way of life at this point, lol, and just prioritized one goal at a time instead of trying to accomplish everything and feeling like crap. I had a coach once tell me that you can't ride two horses with one rear end...and I thought it was funny, but there's truth to it.

Ive lost 40 lbs and it still hasn't registered in my mind, lol. I see myself in the mirror sometimes and I'm like "that can't be me, can it?" And forget buying clothes without trying them on...if I don't, I still buy clothes that are too big cause I don't realize I've lost weight.

I've been sober for a few days shy of 2 years now, and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I don't miss it at all. Good for you, keep it up.

5'8 and 170 Squat- 135 Bench-105 Deadlift-185 I was lifting alot more before I cut my calories and lost 35 lbs. I'm glad that I'm thinner, but damn do I miss being strong lol.

I drank a ton of black coffee in the beginning, but the feeling goes away. I used to eat at 1pm, 4, and 7...but now I generally only eat one meal a day at like 6pm, with an occasional 36-48 hour water fast if I feel up to it. Also doing one meal a day and I wish I woulda done it sooner, makes eating at a deficit way easier. I also train muay thai 3x a week, lift 2x a week, and maybe go for a run once or twice.
