  • The aha moment this time was when the scale at the doctors office couldn't weigh me, I had to use the scale for wheelchairusers. This time was different because I also felt very ill at the moment, I needed to get well again. And if you don't have the mindset playing on your team it's really hard, my journey got extremely…

  • Sometimes keto, sometimes just lowcarb. I'm 50, lived like this for 9 years, lost 140 pounds. It makes me feel more full, I don't get hungry so fast. Therefore it makes me eat less.

  • Nothing gets better by worrying. You only got one life, live it. Listen to your mom...wish I knew that before, wish my kids know it now :D
  • I haven't noticed it, but any diet based on just one type of food is something I would stay away from. My goal is to eat healthy, nutritional balanced meals, I work on doing that better day by day. Eating just one thing, can't be healthy.
  • I use steviadrops, but it's right that some people maintain sugarcravings by using sweeteners. Some sweeteners more then others to my experience.
  • Today I had an omelette made of 2 eggs and with smoked salmon and cucomber by the side for breakfast. For dinner I had chickenlegs, homemade coleslaw, green cabbage, spinach and broccoli. Perhaps I eat some cottagecheese with a few walnuts later on.

  • Lost 80 pounds with carbs, lost 140 without carbs. Have been eating keto/lowcarb for 9 years, and will stick to it. Fast carbs makes me crave more carbs and I do alot better when I don't have to fight that craving all the time. Lowcarb makes me feel not hungry, and therefor I eat less.

  • The most important change was the "in it for life realisation" Diet isn't for short term, it's lifelong, only permanent changes leads to permanent results.
