I’m generally right at 6-7 hours too. Pretty good since I have an 8 month old. Ideally I’d get 8. Wow I’m surprised this is such a widespread problem. I read an article that Americans are getting less sleep than ever, and this little survey supports that.

You can add me :)

Black coffee and dark chocolate (100 calories worth) is my favorite breakfast. It works for me. It’s just about finding what works for you.

I beat PCOS with lifestyle changes only. My dr wanted me to go on three prescriptions, but after researching side effects, I refused, and asked him if I could try to control it with diet and exercise. He said yes reluctantly, although it was obvious he didn’t think I would be able to carry through. 60 pounds later, and…

Almost all vegetables I hated when I was growing up. After getting married, my husband taught me how to cook them, and I fell in love with pretty much all of them. Brussels, cabbage, spinach, onions, zucchini, squash, etc!!

The added accountability helps me, so I keep mine open. But to each their own.

I just stopped unhealthy carbs. No white bread, white rice, white potatoes, and processed sugar. Just eliminating these created it’s own deficit for me. This diet was recommended by my dr, because I’m insulin resistant, although my dr did not tell me what number to stay under. I’ve not eliminated healthy carbs (oats, sweet…

I just started low carb and low sugar/ no processed sugar this week, and I feel better already, too! I’ve also noticed the less bloated feeling! It is easy to stay on it, because you just feel so good.

I’m doing Pilates to help with my postpartum belly. I’m about two weeks in and it does feel more toned.

Also a mom of three, I’m doing low-carb, seven pounds down so far. 😊

I definitely find that I sleep better if I don’t eat late.

I’m trying to reboost my milk supply (after a 2 month break due to medications) to breastfeed my 7 month old again and lose weight, too ( or at least not gain!) :)

I have a major sweet tooth too! I’ve found what works best for me is being prepared. Like on fridays when we always get doughnuts in the office, I’ll bring a protein cookie from home. I also love the fiber one brownies (90 calories). Or if I know it’s something I don’t want to resist, I’ll save calories for it. You are not…

1200 for me is not sustainable in the long run and leaves me very unsatisfied, even on no exercise days.
-
It is very normal to lose a lot quickly. It’s good that you expect rate of loss to slow down, because that is normal as well. Just in hang in there, you are doing great!!
-
I’ve been back at this for about 3 weeks, and it’s been going pretty well so far. Would love to help and to get help!

Low impact exercises for sure. Stationary bike, Pilates, elliptical, yoga. Then you will be ready to do high impact before you know it! :)
-
What about doing Pilates or yoga for now? You will definitely see a change to the muscles in your body and it will be a great way to prep your body to run for when you are able to begin again.

I love Luna bars as far as nutrition and taste. I need to branch out and try some others!

A couple of bad days is totally what you make of it. You can just start all over. It might not even make a bit of difference. Maybe next time when TOM is coming, plan ahead, and load your kitchen with satisfying lower calorie treats. I love to make salty sweet potato chips in the oven, or get pints of halo top ice cream,…

Definitely watch videos first to learn proper techniques and posture for safety, but once you are comfortable with that, pinterest is an excellent resource for workout guides and maps for pilates and yoga.

Sure add me!

Because I’m insulin resistant, too much sugar exhausts me! That discovery changed my life. Fruit doesn’t really bother me, but processed sugar does!

Halo top chocolate ice cream or fiber one chocolate brownies?

Right now this second I have in my crock pot three large bone-in chicken breasts with organic chicken broth, minced garlic, and brown sugar. Smells amazing! Makes juicy and tasty chicken.

I make the same smoothie every morning ( I’m a creature of habit lol). 1 cup milk ( usually 2% or lower to help on calories ), 1 Cup raw spinach, 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa, 1 tbsp PB2, 1 tbsp raw honey, and a banana. Sometimes some strawberries too. I serve over ice with straw.

I know every one is different, but my doctor immediately tried to put me on 3 prescriptions. After researching PCOS for myself, I decided to try to control it with diet and exercise, no prescriptions, and within 6 months I was 100% better! I also lost 55 pounds that year. That was 14 years ago, and in that time frame I’ve…
