  • @goal06082021 Yes unfortunately, it started happening after I got a copper iud fitted last year then in August I was put on the pill to try and regulate things so after a few months things went back to normal until I got my 2nd covid vaccine which I received 3 days after my period stopped then 4 days after my vaccine my…
  • Thought I'd change my weigh in day to Thursday this month since the 1st was a Thursday. Not much progress to report my weight has virtually been the same for about 3 weeks now, I'm staying within my calories and burning calories but not getting the results I'm aiming for. After feeling semi human for 2 days time of the…
  • Thank you @RavenStCloud for the new thread. Happy July everyone, glad to be here again seeing everyone getting one step closer to their goals. Trying to find a new routine at the moment, when the schools stop my routine has to change to fit round the kids so I haven't been out on my usual walks and it's been too hot for…
  • Starting to feel a bit more human than I was on Saturday although I definitely went overboard with my gardening this week my back and the back of my thighs are still sore but I'm hoping after burning those calories and my body starting to get back to some kind of normality that I might see a drop soon, cause I'm pretty…
  • What can I say about this week other than its been manic, my eldest turned 19, my daughter passed her national 5 exams and my children have all finished up for the summer holidays so don't return to school till mid August. As for me well I'm having a pretty rubbish time, basically the period that started a week after my…
  • This week saw a whoosh which was a welcome surprise after staying the same last week. I've been doing my usual walk of 3 miles per day but I didn't add in any other exercise this week. I've been drinking at least 2 litres of water daily and trying to eat all of my calories. My plan for next week is to try and do 50 squats…
  • This week saw some progress thankfully although I'm surprised because after my 2nd vaccination on Saturday I got a period a few days later after just finishing my period 1 week before which wasn't good, the vaccine seems to really mess up my cycle. I'm hoping maybe there's a whoosh coming soon once Tom disappears. Changed…
  • Never lost anything this week, posted my stats further up but I did have a NSV. I tried on a top that I bought a couple of years ago that I struggled to get my arms into when I bought it, it was far too narrow across the shoulders and It was so bad that when I tried it on for the first time I was stuck in it and didn't…
  • Last week I put my calories up a bit for the holiday weekend but there was only really one day that I ate most of those calories. I still had it set to lose weight just less than normal but the scale hasn't moved this week so I have no idea if it's because of that or that I've done a bit less exercise due to the heat but…
  • @rmh2021 I am trying to lose 60lbs too, got about 36 still to lose, I'm also eating low calorie (1200) but I eat the foods I want to eat and try and keep as close to the macros that have been suggested for me on here. I'm not following a particular plan just low calorie meals and snacks. I feel the exact same questioning…
  • Hello and welcome to everyone who has joined this month, it's so nice to see so many people posting here, I only joined this group in April and everyone has been so nice and supportive. Hope everyone hits their goals this month, We can do this!
  • Waking up during the night choking on my own stomach acid Hardly sleeping due to the pain of trapped wind Cancelling going out because you look so bad in everything you own that you would rather not be seen Going clothes shopping and having limited choice because they only do your size in a few items Having to have my…
  • Thanks for starting the thread again @RavenStCloud. Looking forward to another month with all you lovely ladies, I love how supportive and honest this group is. My goal for this month is 190lbs that would take me to my halfway point and leave me with 30lbs still to lose. I will continue walking, using my exercise bike and…
  • Happy to report that I hit my May goal of 196 this morning, well 196.2 but it's right where I wanted to be this month. Tomorrow marks 12 weeks exactly since I started logging again and completely changed my lifestyle after hitting the heaviest weight I've ever been in my life 220lbs. I knew I could lose weight, I've done…
  • This week has been a bit of a struggle, not exercise or food wise but time of the month hit and my weight went up by over 1lb and it took 4 days before it came back down so I wasn't sure I'd see a loss at all this week. I'm a bit gutted because I was right on target to hit the goal I'd set for myself this month and instead…
  • Still sticking with it, I walk at least 3 miles per day Monday to Friday and I'm doing exercises with dumbells at home because I'm trying to rid myself of my bingo wings, also using my exercise bike a few times per week. My calorie goal is 1200 plus I eat half my exercise calories back. I'm hoping to be halfway to my goal…
  • @Spotteddingo I was moving along, still moving but the scale hasn't budged, in fact it went up 1lb at the weekend and hasn't come back down so I have no idea what's going on. Still pushing on though and hopefully it will disappear again and I'll see a drop of some kind, fingers crossed.
  • This week has been a strange week, normally I see a drop Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but this week it happened on Tuesday and Wednesday then nothing today. I did a lot more walking yesterday and my legs are feeling it today so wonder if that's why there was no movement this morning but it's been a good week things are…
  • @SammiGirl1321 2 of my sons have autism, 1 of them needed 3 years of intensive speech therapy because he was non verbal then when he did speak he had severe phonological disorder, both my boys also have sensory processing disorder so lots of sensory issues.
  • @girlinkaz you look fantastic
  • @azalea4175 I eat back half my exercise calories and my losses have been quite consistent since I've been doing that. The reason I only eat half is because sometimes apps overestimate calories burned so if I only eat half my exercise calories then I know I'm not accidentally eating more than I've burned and that I'm still…
  • @CariTJR I work in stones and pounds too but find it easier to use pounds on here as its only people from the UK that seem to understand a stone. I'm close to seeing 13 as my first number on the scale which I'm looking forward to cause when I started my first number was 15 and wasn't far away from 16. My weight loss chart…
  • Hi and welcome, I have around 40lbs still to lose, well done on your loss so far.

  • I'm back again too, lost the weight 3 years ago and have gained it back plus 18lbs more. I'm hoping I've learned where I went wrong and don't make the same mistake again cause I really don't want to find myself at the beginning again.
  • Sending hugs, rejection sucks but I've always believed things happen for a reason there is something and someone better out there for you. I prefer talking to strangers because I find people that don't know you are more likely to give an honest perspective of the situation where people close to you tend to tell you what…

  • Don't restrict yourself too much, I find if I cut out foods or restrict myself too much I crave those foods and binge. I've been eating low calorie crisps and chocolate daily and I honestly don't feel like I'm missing anything and I haven't lost my motivation yet, also remind yourself of your goal and what you're trying to…
  • Halfway through the week, how is everyone feeling? I'm sticking within my calories and still walking, using my weights and my bike, I think I overdid it on Saturday though and spent Saturday night and Sunday with an achy hip and back. I've always had hip issues, they got worse after I had my kids but this is the first time…
  • I'm 40, 4 kids well ones almost 19 so he's all grown up, I have at least 60lbs to lose have lost just shy of 21lbs since March, still a long way to go but I'm getting there. My diary is open and I log daily.
  • @stortina Good Luck with the ivf, you've been doing so well with your weight loss. @jazzadesigns I'm still waiting on someone to notice my weight loss too, hopefully once the weather improves and I'm no longer wearing a winter coat they might see there's less of me.
  • @tiffdaski Glad you and your family are feeling better. Don't be too hard on yourself sometimes life throws a spanner in the works but the fact you're trying to get back on track shows you're determined, you can do this.
