  • @finngirl61 make sure you're eating close to goal calories because if you're eating under its possible you could be eating too few calories and that results in slow or no weight loss. Check the amount of sodium you're eating if you're eating too much your body will hold on to water and your weight will go up. Make sure…
  • It's been a good week, I'm happy with the results, I made it to onederland only just but I'm there. My plan for next week is to continue with what I'm doing because it's obviously working for me and getting me closer to where I want to be. SW 8/03/21- 220lbs 1/05/21- 203 8/05/21- 201.8 15/05/21-199.6
  • I'm a 40 year old mum of 4 and started back here in March weighing 220lbs which at 5ft 3" was too much and it really was starting to affect my health. I've lost 20lbs so far but still have at least another 40 to lose. I find logging everything daily really helps me, for exercise I walk an hour a day Monday to Friday which…
  • If you're eating way under your calorie goal you won't be eating enough so your body will hold onto the weight. Try and eat your calories plus half your exercise calories for a week and you should see a loss provided you log everything accurately.

  • @azalea4175 Thank you, I'll go and have a look, I hate that it's just sitting in a drawer and am desperate to use it again a fabric strap would be ideal.
  • @ahowell36 I can highly recommend Holly Dolke workout videos on YouTube, her workouts are usually 10 minutes long and she has loads of different ones, full body, arms, abs.
  • @VickyEltonGreen well done on the smaller jeans, that's definitely a NSV. @JNettie73 family drama is a nightmare, I cut my sil out of my life because of the drama she caused I just felt she was toxic and honestly my life has been so much better without her. I will share my new jumper when it fits comfortably, hopefully…
  • Been there with the online learning with 3 kids and I feel your pain the stress was unbelievable. I'm lucky that 2 of mine are back at school full time and 1 part time so I'm walking and doing exercise at home to burn the calories and tone the flab.
  • Feel free to add me, I log in daily and my diary is open.
  • I totally understand what you mean when you say food is your crutch, I was an emotional eater, I think I've broken that cycle but food was the first thing I turned to if I was stressed, angry, upset it was the thing I felt always made me feel better but at the same time I was getting bigger and hating what I was seeing in…
  • @girlinkaz when I find my mindset changing I remind myself of my goal and how far I've come and that usually helps me. I also have a weight loss chart and I find seeing that gives me a boost and reminds me that with every pound I lose I get closer to my goal and feeling happy and more confident in my own skin. For me…
  • @sandielewis2001 have you recalculated your calories since you began in January? Chances are that with the weight you've already lost your calories will have gone down, it may be worth resetting your goals just to see if the allocated calories change.
  • How is everyone feeling as we head towards the 3rd weigh in of May? I've had a stressful couple of days, came home yesterday to a flooded bathroom, thankfully I caught it in time before the water escaped into my hall or through the kitchen ceiling but even with the stress and upset I have stayed within my calories and…
  • Same here, I had lost 42lbs and my weight had crept up a little before covid but once we went into lockdown I didn't leave the house because I'm asthmatic and was terrified I'd catch it so I binge watched box sets and comfort ate. I gained all that weight back plus around 18lbs more. I started back here in March with 60lbs…
  • Try eating your calories plus some of your exercise calories, my weight loss slowed to virtually nothing and when I checked my net calories were 850 which is far too low. So I started eating my 1200 calories as well as half of my exercise calories and my weight has been dropping around 2 lbs per week since then.

  • @whkl1 SW is starting weight. My calories are set to 1200 and I eat back half of my exercise calories too and posting here definitely helps with motivation and support because you're part of everyone else's journey too so it's nice to cheer each other on.
  • @KeriA I have a fitbit too and that's the reason I haven't been using it, my wrist came out in a rash which took weeks to heal, really wish the straps weren't plastic.
  • Set MFP to sedentary and eat the calories it tells you to eat daily that should work for you and you should see a loss. You could also try to exercise indoors to burn some calories.
  • I did have an issue with binging, it's the reason I gained the weight, I was an emotional eater and any upset would have me turning to food. I've got myself in the mindset now that when I want to eat something I ask myself is that worth that amount of calories, I also remind myself of my goal and question if I really want…

  • Try a pinch of nom cookbook, it's amazing I cook things then divide it into tubs for the fridge and freezer it means I have nights that instead of cooking I'm just heating something in the microwave.
  • Have sent a friend invite, we all need some motivation and support to help us reach our goals
  • I totally understand your battle, I'm fighting the same one myself and am back here again at an even heavier starting weight than I was last time I lost the weight. What I've learned though is only do the exercise and eat the food which will be sustainable long term because by not setting out with that plan I'm only…
  • Have sent you an invitation to add me as a friend, I started with around 60lbs to lose although when I reach that target I might add a new one depending on how I look and feel, I've lost just over 18lbs so far but still have a fair amount to lose, I log in daily and my diary is open.
  • Decided to weigh in on Saturdays this month since the 1st was a Saturday. Have done my usual walking this week, only had 20 minutes on the exercise bike this week but have been working on my arms too so I'm giving them a break till Monday now because I'm definitely feeling this week's arm workouts. Happy with this week's…
  • @CariTJR well done that's a great loss, I'm in the UK too.
  • Love seeing so many people joining in, I loved last months thread and seeing so many people adding their weights weekly and really all helping to motivate each other, can't wait to see everyone getting one step closer to their goals this month. My plan is to continue doing what I did last month, walking at least 5km 5 days…
  • @sarahelton87 fantastic loss well done
  • @Katebook309yahoocom940 I'm in another thread that's just restarted again today, you're welcome to join us you'll find it in the motivation and support section it's called Women 200lb+, Let's Be Marvelous This May!!!
  • Thank you for starting the thread again, looking forward to another month with all you lovely people. My target for this month is to get to 196lbs and get myself into onederland. Starting weight 8th March 21- 220lbs Current weight 1/05/21- 203lbs
  • @Spotteddingo I felt like that about 14, 2 weeks it a row I was stuck on 13 point something and I honestly thought I was never going to be able to say I'd lost 14lbs. Well done on a good month.
