  • Water water water. I also usually have a cup of unsweet tea at work, and there's a blackberry sparkling water that I drink every once in a while.
  • I don't know how other people feel about this but I'm utterly unashamed of needing more time to eat. I eat slow, it takes me a while to get a full meal in me, but I would rather have a slow stress-free meal that I enjoy, than a fast, rushed, stressful meal.
  • Thanks y'all. Oh yeah, no denial here. I've been doing IF with a friend (she's 16/8 and I'm OMAD) and we both try to keep each other from pulling this kind of garbage on ourselves, but dieting is supposed to be hard, right?. Complicated! It's what we've always been told, and those of us who have dieted in the past, that's…
  • Hey I'm Che. As I mentioned in another thread, I found OMAD while I was doing an extended prayer fast. I was basically searching around for some inspiration and came across the concept of intermittent fasting.I knew right away OMAD was for me. It fits my schedule perfectly, and after an extended fast, one meal a day seemed…
  • I drink mostly water. I have a green tea when I wake up and make some unsweetened iced tea to sip while at work. I'm not a big fan of coffee, and if I have a diet soda, it's always with my meal and not during my fasting period.
  • I'm a keto person and I'm not entirely sold on it. I make my own fat bombs with coconut oil and eat one when I want to meet my fat macros, but I feel like straight up MCT oil would be better for weight loss. The lauric acid in coconut oil is an MCT but behaves like an LCT in the body, apparently. But you gotta admit the…
  • Okay, I started OMAD about a month ago, I went into it after an 8 day prayer fast. While on my extended fast, I had done some searching around the internet for some inspiration and accidentally stumbled across the concept of intermittent fasting. I was shocked by how easy it sounded, and OMAD fit my lifestyle perfectly. (I…
  • I do OMAD + keto. I've been at it about one month. I work nights and get off work at 7am, so my meal it typically after I've run my errands and done some chores, usually between 8-8:30. I'm a slow eater but I try to finish up by 10am. My favorite thing about OMAD is how darned easy it is. It fits my vampire lifestyle…
  • Recently came off an 8 day water fast and went directly into intermittent fasting. I do 20/4 but it's turning into OMAD, or perhaps sloppy OMAD, out of convenience. I keep low carb, no refined sugar and no starches, but not obsessing over every pea or berry. I'm seeing some changes, but haven't weighed in yet. I do feel…
