  • Hi Kimmy sounds like very good advise. Thank you for your words
  • Congrats on the weight loss. It will be hard as I’m an emotional eater but I’m going to try yet again to make this work. Thanks so much for your reply and suggestions
  • To be honest I’m not a fan of social media. I don’t want to bore my friends so I try and do this myself but I see it’s not going anywhere. But I will talk to one who is close to me instead of me keeping this all bottled in. Thank you for your reply
  • Thank you all for the kind words. It means a lot.
  • Hello I’m JessieCanDoThis, also known as Jessie. I joined in March and it’s been an interesting ride. I’m a mother of two teenagers and a graduate student. I also work full time. It’s been interesting trying to fit in my workouts but I’m doing the best I can! My hopes for April: I’ve set a goal to drop 30 lbs for my…
  • Hello! I’m also a grad student, 36, 5’6’’ currently at 265.4, looking to get back to 170. I’ve been here for 4 weeks and lost some weight so far (8 lbs) we can be friends if you’d like!
  • March 23rd Exercise: yes Calories: yes Tracked: yes Went back to the gym today and walked 30 min on the treadmill and did 30 min of a stair glider (I’m not sure of the name of the machine). I also did a 20 min walk on my lunch break. Burned 587 calories. Today I feel a little tired but I get awesome last night from my…
  • I know it may not seem like a lot but I’ve been on here for 25 days and I have not binged! I added lemon water to my intake and when I find the urge I just drink water. I urinate all the time but I feel it’s better than eating all those calories and then regretting it later. I overeat, so this site has really helped me…
  • March 22nd Exercise: yes Calories: yes Tracked: yes Light 15 minute walk yesterday just under a mile. Had a lot to do with the kids so I didn’t make it to the gym. Ate healthy though and drank a lot of water.
  • March 21st Exercise: yes (walking 31 min) Calories: yes Tracked: yes We had a snowstorm but I managed to still walk too and from the bus! Also did some exercise in the house, light jogging in place for about 10 min.
  • Thank you I appreciate that! I felt so bloated and I think I’m retaining this water, but I go to the bathroom excessively. I’ll take it, just not used to a loss when I don’t feel I was productive.
  • Username: JessieCanDoThis Weigh in week 1: 268.8 Weigh in week 2: 267.4 Weigh in day: Wednesday Todays Weight week 3: 265.4 lbs (-2 lbs) To be honest I am very shocked. • Hi Misha, You sound just like me except I haven’t lost a huge amount of weight. I am also a grad student and it is so stressful! I will be done Dec 2019. Since I started grad school last year I have gained about 30 lbs, but I was just at my highest weight last month at 273 :/ now I’m trying to lose 100 lbs in a years time…
  • Hello Hazel! I’m Jessie from NYC! This is the first time I’m using this app and I can tell you for me it’s working! I have always struggled with overeating. Now that I log I see where I go wrong. I’ve lost a little weight since just starting 3 weeks ago. I’ve got a long journey ahead too! Like Penny said too I’ve changed…
  • Thank you! So far I do cardio (treadmill, elliptical, stair stepper) and I just started Zumba this past week! Also I will be starting kickboxing at the end of the month...I need it! I started out at 273.6 and I’m at 267.4 as of yesterday. What I saw the first week was my eating. I gave up junk food and used this app for…
  • Hi guys can I join in? I started my journey Feb 26th and since then have lost 6.2 lbs....but I have been feeling so sluggish this last week. Can’t find my motivation to hit the gym :( I’m trying to lose 30 lbs by the end of June for my birthday. I need some encouragement!

  • Frustrating is right. Mine was 30 lbs, then 50, 60 and now I need to lose 100 lbs. it happened so fast. I let stress take over. I’m trying to keep a positive outlook on this though.
  • That is awesome! From getting this app I can see what I’m eating. My problem has always been overeating. I would stuff myself until I’m full. But one thing I did cut out was fast food and making my own food at home. Why pay double to eat? It’s been a change, and adding exercising also. But I feel like this is what I have…
  • And I remember when I was at 216 I would complain. Now at 273 I wish I was at that weight. I have smaller clothes at home that also motivate me! I sent a request to be friends and we can motivate each other :)
  • Yes the sad thing about it! But we’ll get through this!
  • Yes I have to agree now that I am logging my food I am really aware of what I’m eating. Preparing all of my meals is another benefit because I know what is in it and I don’t eat excess fat. I almost broke last night and over ate but I started drinking a lot of water to compensate. Then I was living in the bathroom lol
  • Thank you for the link! According to that chart I’m over the obese side but damn. My first goal weight of 170 is overweight. I really don’t think it’s that bad and I will continue to strive for that. If I want to go to 150 maybe I will but I’m not stressing that.
  • Congrats on losing the weight! I don’t even know what my “normal weight” should be, but I know I want to wear a. M or L and back to a size 12/14. Right now I’m at a 2XL and size 20...slowly I know which is a challenge because of course I want to see results right away. But I’m going to pace myself. I know there will be…
  • Congrats on the weight loss. I can’t wait to see the pounds shed off!
  • I can’t wait to see some results. A part of me is scared to go on the scale though. I feel I’ve made progress, I just don’t want to be disappointed again
  • Thanks! I like the app and im hoping for the best with this process.
  • That’s awesome. I can’t wait to get there! Congrats to you!
