T25 is a great complement to 80 DO, because it's very cardio based, especially the Alpha phase (first 5 weeks). The biggest pro: it's only 25 minutes long, making it easy to squeeze in your day. Especially if doing 80 DO which is already pretty time consuming. The biggest con: it has no breaks, yo. Also, there's lots of…

Day 40 of 80 Days Obsession is in the books! Yay. On a less happy note: I have ripped through all my resistance loops. The biggest mistery to me is how the cast manages to adjust them so quickly and flawlessly between moves D=. I always fall behind, so the workouts take more for me. I'm also powering through Focus T25's…

I'm not going to read this whole thread, so I don't know if anyone already said this... But I don't think there are as many emotional reasons as people seem to think. Speaking for myself at least, I eat till stuffed because I was blessed/cursed/born-with a BIG 'OLE APPETITE. Since I was a happy, normal, loved little child.…

Speed 2.0 (Focus T25) is SO DAMN FUN! As is Leg Day from Phase 2 (80 Days Obsession). Got that post exercise high right now n.n!

Cool. Alpha Cardio is quite challenging for me, I huff and puff my merry way through it! It's constant movement... and those power rounds, phew. I hope all issues pass. There's an awesome satisfaction in getting workoutd in when life is in the way. Good luck!

pop corn! Air popped (it's more economical to buy this way), bit of oil, sprinkle some salt (and maybe spices). or, to satisfy the sweet tooth: chocolate. I buy a small portion, so I don't do anything silly, lol.

People seem to have so many emotional triggers for bingeing and I all I can think is that each time I binge, it's purely out of my love for food, my good appetite... and because I miss eating in non-moderate, non-sensible amounts. It's really hard for me to stop after an episode (so it doesn't turn in to a full day) or a…

Wow, that really, really sucks. Sorry :( It's very frustrating to be in a motivated, fitness mindset... but have your body betray you. It's like "not now, body; not me, life!" I had to take a break from Focus T25 (cardio/hiit) during January and February due to a pain in the front of my right ankle when jumping, lunging,…

Started Beta Round of Focus T25! After what felt like an eternity in Alpha Round (due to a loop of pausing/resuming, hehe), I have to say: I found it very fun! Different, even more challenging and yet totally doable! (I was dreading I'd be left behind, big time.) Shau T, man... I love that guy. Like him there ain't…

I just finished week 2 of Phase 2 and I gotta say, it gets more challenging (and dynamic) as it moves along = ) The key, I think, is to have an appropriate set of dumbbells. That will allow you to use weights that really defy you in each exercise. I have loadable ones, which are a bit of a hassle because of the time I…

Tomorrow I finish phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession! Can the people who are further ahead tell me what I can expect for Phase 2? I didn't think much of Phase 1 initially, but I have to admit: I invested in more dumbbells, upped the weights... and it's been kicking my butt.

Finished weeks 2 of 80 Day Obsession and Focus T25 Alpha Round!! Tomorrow is REST day for me, yee haw n.n I'm doing a hybrid because right now I have the time, energy... and 80DO is more strength focused while T25 is more cardio oriented, so I feel I get the best of both worlds = ) I'm learning to love 80DO --which at…

Haha I love Speed because it's the one workout in Alpha where I can almost (95%) say "nailed it". Although, to be honest, another part of me always thinks "what the heck?" Like, the stretches feel nice, but I wonder why they're there in mid workout (if the idea is to max it out in those 25 minutes). Alas, I do enjoy the…

Cool. I'm not quite there yet, I have to take a two-three second breather here and there, but going non-stop is my goal. It's fun though, I appreciate the challenge!

And to those doing 80DO... don't you feel ripped off with the workouts being repeated so much throughout the month? Even the warm-up stays the exact same =/ When I heard 80 different workouts, I thought I'd get exactly that... not the same workout with the gang in different outfits... The other thing... do y'all really get…

Hey, to all y'all that are doing T25 Focus (Alpha round, specifically): Do you ever get through the whole 25 minutes without any short rests, slow-downs and/or modifications? Which videos can you do 100%?

- Fitness Blender - Sidney Cumming - Millionaire Hoy All these guys have very fun and free workouts on youtube. Sidney Cumming uploads a new workout every single day.

How about cardio workout videos on youtube? Search for Fitness Blender's HIIT cardio or Sidney Cummings' workouts. Or Millionaire Hoy's workouts as well. They're fun and are a nice change to steady cardio which tends to get boring. You can keep them in the mix for some days of the week :)

Awesome, I just received a step thingy as a present and I'm going to look for videos to add that in. I think that's what I'll do: commit to the 80 DO as a staple for the three months, but add/adjust according to my needs and fuel. If you're able to complete workouts and if you've been into fitness for a while (6 months or…

Thanks for the reply =) I did day 2 today, Booty, which was ALL band use. And while -again- I didn't feel the bands to provide enough of a challenge (I'm used to dumbbells)... I have to admit, my glutes and thighs are pretty sore right now, lol. So I do feel I got a good workout in. Different. That makes me very happy.…

thanks you two, I took my concern to one of those links (because just reading them wasn't that insightful to my wonderment, tbh) :).

I wonder if these awesome results only happen with people who hadn't done any strength training beforehand... or if they will also occur in intermediate users, as the program suggests. I did day 1 today and frankly it was not that challenging. I think I did more in the same 50 minutes with my previous dumbell workouts. And…

I've had ankle impingement injuries that suck (because they reiterate), but those are due to working out too intensely too quick (and too overweight probably) at the beginning of my journey, bad quality footwear through life, bad luck, etc. Due to weight loss or my calorie deficit: I'm loosing hair like crazy D = And yes,…

- Peanut butter. - Mint and chips ice cream. - Oreos. Chips Ahoy. Those are the main things where portion control becomes a struggle --because there's a big gap between a sensible portion that fits into my calorie allowance and my ideal, enthusiastic portions where I'm left satisfied! Lol/sob.
-
I gained the 35 lbs that I'm now loosing eating mostly "good" carbs, "good" fats, and "good" proteins, lol I had too much (as in too big a portions that put me in a calorie surplus at the end of the day) healthy bean salad (dressed with too much olive oil); put too much healthy avocado on my big pieces of homemade…

dang, that's my exact thought on the matter. None of the "increase your fiber", "make sure to have protein and fat in your meals", "volume eating is the key", "up your water intake" reeeeally works for me =/ I'm making my peace with the fact that to feel truly satisfied, I have to over-eat (and thus, be over-weight). For…

I hate it that us shorties need less calories than taller people. I seriously doubt my hunger is less than my taller friend, thank you very much >:( (Even though technically it should be I guess, lol, but I really feel we can both eat the same exact breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc just fine. However, at the end of the day, I…

But it tastes like the dickens, is the thing... :/ I guess as a spread it would be less noticable though, and it really is a big difference calorie-wise ^^
-
Replace it (in sandwiches, wraps, salads, potato salad, tuna salad, egg salad) with plain greek yogurt? Or slim down regular mayo with it: half mayo, half greek... maybe a tad of mustard for taste. It's not a big impact taste-wise, and you'll up the protein and down the calorie-dense fats!

On a similar note, is instant coffee too much the devil? *dodges eggs and tomatoes thrown her way I actually prefer it, yep, plus I'm crazy lazy in the kitchen and it's even quicker to make than filtered, but I've always wondered if the benefits of regular coffee are included in instant coffee. Or if instant coffee is…
