...I let my emotions be dependent on one man's opinion.

The smaller the tuna the better. Mercury isn't something you can fix.

As a mad scientist you should love cooking unless you don't have tastebuds. Look up Alton Brown, he's the king of the lab when it comes to science + cooking. I'm nowhere close to the science aspect of things but I love my tastebuds so I took up every aspect of cooking and brewing. My tastebuds thank me every meal. :-D

Instead of adding taxes we should pay teachers better to educate people about nutrition and staying healthy.

It's way too hot. Maybe in the winter. :-)

How much do you like to cook and what do you like to eat? I can tell you what I go through in 3 weeks but if you don't cook or like that kind of food it won't do you any good.

The biggest rule I've ever lived by was, if I can't do it myself than I probably don't need it. This is towards food. It took me to the point where I had dairy goats and made my own butter, cheese, yogurt and ice cream, not to mention garden, livestock, poultry and mini brewery. I was thinner and stronger back then. I went to college with a girl who ate her orange whole, peel and all. When I was a kid I'd leave nothing of my apple left.

I hard boil quail eggs to put in my Mac salad whole. And I use goose eggs to make deviled eggs. When we butcher pigs I take the face off, sprinkle it with seasoning, put the pigs tongue in the middle then roll it up and bake it. It's better than bacon. :-D I don't think any of that is weird though.

Salty fries with ice cream is awesome.

Fenugreek made me smell like maple syrup. Love it!

Skip the baking and put the cookie dough in a bowl of ice cream. That's how you win em. :-D

Even labels are allowed a certain margin of error. I don't remember the % but it's hard to trust them as exact all the time.

Wraps. Slice up whatever vegetables and leftover meat (if any) and wrap it in tortillas.

Get a dog. He'll keep you company and needs to be walked. The worse thing for depression is isolation. You don't have to give up food just match your activities with what you eat beyond what you need to live. I refuse to give up food, I'm a foodie at heart, so I'm making my lifestyle more active.

I'll like you. Ha ha ;-)

I dated a guy once who got on the notion that eating 5 meals a day would help him lose weight. Problem was he ate out at restaurants for every meal. He didn't lose weight.

I grew up hating vegetables (my parents raised me on Mac n cheese, hotdogs and hamburger helper). When I bought my house at 25 I started learning to cook. There isn't a vegetable out there that I won't eat. :-)

Can you ask your Dr to set you up with a physical therapist to assist you back to a healthy regimen? Doesn't seem like too much to ask.

My basset mix loves it. His heart is in hunting rabbits but keeps the hen house and barn free of rats.

A sahm group would be awesome. :-D

I'm happy to be friends with anyone. :-D

Breakfast: Tomato juice, pepper and lime in my bloody Mary. Lunch: Strawberries and pineapple in my margarita. Dinner: carrots, broccoli stems and bok choy in my pork broth soup and zucchini, cucumbers and poblanos in my spring rolls.

Kat is what my friends call me. Phi 1.618 is the golden ratio. Gives me something to strive for. Ha ha.

I'm not awesome at this but I'm trying to make a habit of it. A bigger support group would be fantastic. :-)

I have a small farm I supplement my groceries with. It's just an overgrown hobby. :-)

You can get gluccomannan(?) in pill form also.

Protein shakes, soy anything and I can't handle raw oysters. I'm pretty much game for anything else.
