When I was a young woman I controlled my weight because I wanted to look hot. LOL Then I became a mom and lost a grip on my weight and ballooned up. I wasn't worried about being hot but I still worked on it because it made my 1st husband happy to have me trimmer. Now I'm in my 60's and if it wasn't for my lousy health I…

You look a healthy weight, just got to realize that everyone has a different perspective of what is the right weight. You may be going too low in your calorie intake. My dietians had me to figure up how many calories I burn per day then she told me not to go below 300 calories less than what I would eat to maintain. I currently eat 2000 a day and have lost 21 lbs.
-
Just be sure to count everything you eat. After a while you will realize the calories are not not worth giving up the next meal. I indulge periodically just so I don't feel deprived and want to quite eating right.

Don't give up, dry the tears honey. I was stuck for 6 full weeks. I stuck to the calorie intake and watching what I age. Becareful not to drop your calories too much or you will for sure stall your metabolism. I just dropped my 1st lb in 6 weeks, at least I was pretty much staying where I was at within a 2 lb range the…

I have type 2 diabetes and my nurse nutritionist told me to gage each meal at 45 grams of carbs, about 20 carbs for snacks. She suggested 2000 calories and I'm losing weight steadily. Know your stressed out but for your health is most important is your to be able to do all the rest. Make it a priority.

fantastic. I know I gained a about 90 lbs after I had my kids and never got it off, it was stuck on me for years and really stresses the body. I'm working on getting healthy finally. Your smart to keep at it because it is easy to get lax and put it back on. Your doing great.

I have a lot of arthritis joint damage all over my body, exercise is so painful. My doctors encourage what ever exercise I can do to help me stay mobile. I did have a gym membership but I couldn't do much. I do exercise around my home and walk on my large patio and keep a chair near by so I can stop and rest if I can't…

It's been 2 1/2 weeks and I find that logging in my food really keeps me thinking about what goes in my mouth. Just like so many of you have already noted. It makes a huge difference.

Hi Older Mom, I'm a grandmother age 62 and I've been battling my weight since I had my boys. My youngest is 24 so at least 24 years I've been struggling. Here is something I learned recently after the doctor told me I have diabete (early stages). Well the diet they gave me was 45 grams of carbs per meal and I can have 18…

I used to skip breakfast, but my nutritionist said that is a no no. I've got early state diabete's and she told me breakfast is important for balancing my blood sugar. I have a one scoop whey protein in 1% low fat milk first thing after I get up. I have my coffee and I make sure I get 45 grams of carbs. I have found that I…
