My breakfast is my favorite and most filling meal. Egg sandwich on Ezekiel bread or English muffin with about 0.5 oz hard cheese like grass fed red cheddar, two turkey sausages and a bit of veganaise. For lunch try adding garbanzo beans and quinoa to a salad.

If I take it I take it in the morning. I’ve never heard that there’s a specific time you’re supposed to take it. Sometimes I take melatonin in the evening especially if I need to go to sleep earlier. If you’re sleep is disruptive or you have trouble falling asleep it’s worth a try.

What does the calculator set your intake goal to? You will want to eat some/most of those exercise calories back or you will lose at an unhealthy rate. A reasonable goal is 0.5-1lb a week. MFP calculator will give you the calories and estimated weekly loss. And yes! Your body needs protein, carbs and fat to be healthy.…

Yes, definitely need more fat and less protein and then your protein goal will be easier to attain. Try not to focus on your macros too much, but focus on eating a well balanced diet that meets your caloric needs.

Today I brought tuna fish and had it with some crackers, grape tomatoes and cucumber. Leftover roasted veggies or baked potato are good options too and I’ve found the roasted veggies are even good cold(no microwave here) have that with some cottage cheese or yogurt.

Try giving them a soAk in vinegar solution before final rinse cycle. It can be hard to get stink out of fibers but maybe add borax or baking soda to wash and then the vinegar rinse anything else is just going to mask the odor.

That’s a minimum not a maximum. More people fall short on fiber intake so you’re doing your body a favor. As long as your not having any digestive issues there’s no need to worry.

Maybe cut the protein bars and shakes? I agree your protein goal seems really high, your body can only use so much protein. Maybe allow your macros to flex a bit more in order to get your micros? Forcing yourself to eat more doesn’t sound like a “healthy” way of eating, food is more than food or fuel, you should enjoy it…

Are you having trouble syncing with your phone or just MFP? I’ve had several days where MFP isn’t registering my steps and exercise. I haven’t been around long, is this a constant problem? I’m beginning to think I should shoot more for the calories Fitbit gives me anyways.

Interesting question but you do need quite a bit more calories. I was hungry all the time when nursing and it’s true you need more than during pregnancy. Not a time to be counting calories.

How about mean what you say and say what you mean. If you like raw peanuts and they don’t give you problems, then eat them. If you prefer them roasted and that agrees with you more, then do that.

This made me lol! I do agree with second part of your response though. My experience was a good one with a trainer I felt comfortable with and he helped me achieve my goals at that time. I miss working out with him, I’ve been trying to get into a routine lately. OP is wise to do consults first to see who is a good fit.

I think cleanliness is very desirable in a gym, mine at least is a busy place! One day there wasn’t a scrap of toilet paper in the ladies bathroom and there was only one female employee around. How well things like that are kept up on makes a difference and if it’s a reputable gym having decent equipment should be a given.

I just got home from work and was fixing my snack and fiddling with the scale and expressed my frustration with my boyfriend and he said restart it and I said “ I’m trying it keeps doing this!” (-0 —- 8) and he said, “no, like restart it, take the batteries out” it worked!
