I like Arbonne and Amazing grass, both are vegan.

Experiment with tofu. I didn’t like it the first time I had it because someone used silken in a veggie chili recipe. But then I had it where it was seasoned well and baked. Try freezing for a chewier texture and try to press excess water out. I like it cubed in a stir fry and the baked slices are good hot or cold is great…

I am closer to my goal weight and my stomach is the only area I’m still not happy with. Some of it is fat and some is just excess skin from being a mom three times. I don’t want to lose more than another 5-6 lbs so I just keep working out and eating only slight deficit. I think the skin will improve a little over time but…

Amy’s soups have a pull tab so you won’t have to carry a can opener. You could definitely get a better lunch box/freezer pack imo. Nutrient dense purse items protein bars, jerky, peanut butter packs like Justin’s and bring an apple. I think siggi makes yogurt tubes, toss them in your freezer and then you have a tasty,…

Have cash on hand if possible and use your phone’s calculator to add up your portion plus your portion of tip and hand it off to the person handing back to waitress. “Here’s my portion plus tip” leave it at that.

Your body needs the fat. If you don’t particularly like to add oils eat more nuts, fish, olives and avocado that way you’re getting more nutrients than just fat from these. If you eat yogurt splurge on the whole milk variety occasionally too.
-
Excess protein, I’m lucky to get 90g and I’m 146lb. Your protein need would be a bit less than mine. You want more than the RDA of 0.8 per kg of body weight but if you do the math that’s not anywhere near 1g per lb.

Spider-Man stretches, classic planks, side planks, Russian twists, candlesticks, leg lifts, dead bugs, hip thrusts, crunches and sit ups.

I tried green tea ice cream last night. It was just disappointing and I missed my Belgium chocolate chunks from my usual flavor. I prefer matcha in a hot latte. Get unsweetened and use your own honey, stevia, sugar if needed. It’s also good when added to another green tea without milk.

What activity level did you set? My Fitbit is linked as well and sometimes MFP just isn’t adding any of my Fitbit data. I’ve been using MFP since March and at least once every other week it just isn’t working. You must have an idea of your effort with exercise though so just allow yourself a bit more.

I like Ezekiel bread.

It is true with some products that are low-fat have more sugar therefore not really better calorie wise. Low-fat is one of many health halos that companies use to lure customers. When I buy processed food I pay attention to what kind of oil the product is made with and sugar. Fat makes me feel more satisfied, but some days…

Coconut/almond blend or just coconut in my iced coffee. I prefer my hot coffee black though.

The only “meat” I eat is chicken and turkey. I weigh my chicken after it’s cooked and just try to shoot for a portion that’s about 4oz. I would do the same if I cooked turkey breast, but turkey is usually in the form of lunch meat or my favorite turkey sausages!

Honor your rest days, your body is telling you that you need it. I know resting completely may not be desirable to you so maybe go for a walk or do some yoga which are still good exercises but not going to tax your muscles. That’s the best advice I can come up with.
-
Just some things to consider: when are you weighing yourself? Make sure you’re consistent about that wearing the same amount of clothes or nude after your first trip to the bathroom before consuming anything. You say you’re stronger and have lost inches so perhaps you have gained muscle mass, but 8 lbs is quite a lot.…

You can still eat rice, use whole grain so you get the fiber and vitamins that white rice lacks and measure your portion to fit calorie needs. Try quinoa or amaranth for an alternative too. Tuna fish if you like is easy to make a batch and get 2-3 servings for lunches or even a light dinner.

Rocbola has a good point and if OP only weighs 116 lb her RDA would be about 42g. Yes, that’s a minimum but 100+ isn’t necessary nor is it realistic on a 1200 cal plant based diet.
-
I want to learn more about this! I heard about it briefly in one of my nutrition courses and I’m sure I will come across people who need this. I’m not finished school yet so I don’t have a license to prescribe such a diet but have suggested a coworker look into it. Doctors don’t know what’s wrong with him, they just want…
-
Do you have a scale for your food? I use mine for a lot of my foods now and it helps you learn what a serving actually is.
-
Quinoa is also a great protein source as it’s the only other plant protein that’s a complete protein. It isn’t low calorie but it sounds like you need to focus on foods that fill your nutrient needs first so I would definitely plan one meal with a decent serving of it. This is one thing that I like to meal prep because it…

I’m motivated and motivating. You can add me too!

Hey, I’m trying to gain some muscle mass too. I just joined in March and have lost about 7-8 lbs. I guess you could say I’m attempting to recomp at this point since I don’t want to lose much more weight but have a little more fat than I’d like.

An artist! I would paint, sculpt and design jewelry.
-
Sounds like you’re right on track! That’s good that you’re adding the strength training to your usual walking routine. If adding a third strength training day is possible you might try that.
-
Yes!!! I’ve been trying to increase my holds on my planks too. My obliques are actually sore from my side planks Saturday!
-
Plenty of people drink coffee before working out and plenty hold off and have it afterwards. What’s the question? Whichever works for you is fine.
-
Almond milk goes bad faster than soy milk. I would try to use it in about a week.

How do you make your diary open? I have been making friends recently. I am not sure if mine is visible, but I would be happy to share.
