Peanuts aren’t actually a nut, they’re a legume and they grow underground and yeah if you’re sensitive to mold you should just avoid them altogether.

The brand is warm homing I think

So my scale came and it seems to be touchy about my counters just aren’t flat enough. Has anyone had this problem? It worked perfectly the first couple times I used it. Maybe I should return it for an analog. If you have one do you like it?

This has happened to me before too. It works when it wants to.

Thanks RoxieDawn! I will have to look into the different strength training plans, I know I need to get past insecurities and get comfortable with the weights again.

Walking is great! You can do some isometric exercises that will help tone your muscles like planking. Just ease into it, you definitely don’t want to work so hard that your muscles get sore as it can affect your supply. I tried to jump back into CrossFit after having my third and I gave up because it was affecting my milk.

I’ve made kale chips. Wash and dry, then you need to toss in a yummy homemade sauce. Experiment and use spices, garlic, vinegar, tahini, peanut butter, salt or tamari. Mix well so each piece gets a thin coating then bake in a LOW oven until crispy.

How about a date or two? That’s my mid morning snack quite often. I just need a wee little something for my blood sugar to get me to lunch.

Hit the plus sign and weight is one of your options

Are your carbs from complex carbohydrates? If so and you feel good I don’t see what the problem is. I’m always under on carbs and higher in fat but I don’t stress about it because I eat nuts and avocados often and that works for me. You don’t have to follow macros so much it’s merely guidance and you can adjust to your…

Now I’m wondering what I actually ate for dinner tonight

Personally I wouldn’t eat them on a regular basis, but if they satisfy you and fit in your diet then they might help you avoid other impulse foods. Probably not a bad idea to have one if you’re out a while running errands and have to hit the grocery store or after a workout. But you can just as easily carry some almonds…

I’m not sure where you’re getting your info on fiber rich foods and why would you need more protein if you increase your calories? Your body doesn’t need a percentage of protein, protein needs are based on body weight. Maybe you have been advised to eat high protein. What about beans/legumes? They are an excellent source…

I ended up logging 2062

I definitely thought about ice cream lol! I opted for a Fuji apple and half of a macadamia oatmeal cookie. Who knows I may have underestimated my calories but I should have a scale in a few days and will be able to log more accurately.

I prefer shrimp or tofu, but if I use chicken I use boneless skinless thighs and trim the fat (total pita) it has a lot more flavor and tender than breast meat. If chicken or tofu cook first in peanut oil and then set aside in warm bowl while you cook the veggies then toss protein back in. For shrimp I cook it last.

I like cottage cheese with spicy salsa on top. I’ve even used hot sauce if I don’t have salsa.

Just type it in and options will come up for you to choose from

Making my own noodle bowls. Stir fry tofu or shrimp and broccoli, carrots, cabbage, peas, mushrooms or whatever combination you like add either soba or udon noodles and a little sesame oil and sesame seeds.

Fish or shrimp tacos or lettuce wraps. Use whole grains instead of refined. Add beans to some of your dishes, basically try to up the fiber on your recipes. I’m also a fan of just about any veggies roasted. I agree with what many pp say about a lot of variation on what people consider healthy and tasty. Cooking Light has a…

Guatemala Antigua from Starbucks is my usual weekly pick. Italian is very good black too.

Op you have a lovely tummy. If you want to lose the love handles keep your calories in a reasonable deficit so you lose .5-1 lb per week and strengthening your core with planks and some weight training.
-
I love cottage cheese on my sweet potato too!
-
Some of my favorite snacks are raw almonds, pistachios, cottage cheese, yogurt, turkey jerky. Hard boiled eggs are a great protein rich snack too.

Drink extra water, ibuprofen, Epsom salts in bath followed by cold shower and walk.

Congratulations on beating nicotine addiction! My mom is coming up on her 7 years and I’m so grateful. I’m pretty new here too so hi.

Many years ago I drank my coffee with cream and sugar then when I moved in with my ex who only kept honey in the house. I soon learned to really enjoy good coffee black. If you must have the sweet I would try converting yourself to stevia slowly until you only use the stevia. I don’t recommend artificial sweeteners, they…
