I can easily grab my ankle for those standing one legged quad stretches. I couldn't do this last year. And, I can maintain my balance there for a good stretch without holding on or falling down.

Hey friend ! You're actually doing quite well with your weight loss. 1-2 pounds per week is a healthy rate. Even 0 to 1/2 pound in a week at times. The biggest part is reducing your food intake - which you're doing a real good job at. Hope your leg recovers. It's ok to take a break with the intensity of your workouts.

I try to eat foods that give me a satisfied feeling - for me, it's usually higher protein foods. This isn't to say that once in a while I don't get into a carb craving mode. But overall this strategy has helped me stay on track.
