None of my friends suck.. they're all pretty amazing. However, I'm the only in my circle who is still single-no kids, so I've learned to enjoy doing things on my own. I take solo trips quite often and have come to enjoy the freedom of traveling alone. There's a silver lining behind every cloud :)

I think you just answered your own question. Cardio exercises will help reduce belly fat...that's a fact. And strength training will help with your posture, amongst other things.

Think of the long term...10, 20, 30 years down the road. Just take of your body- eat well and keeping moving and you'll prevent a lot of health complications down the road. The scale can be misleading and discouraging sometimes, that's when you'll have trust the process.

For me it's when I get to the point where I can honestly say, "I don't want to look smaller or thinner than this." You'll get there one day :)

1. Even though MFP calculates your daily calories, it wouldn't hurt to try find online calculator where you can manually enter your age/gender/height/weight/activity factor. This might give a different goal depending on how much you want to lose per week. In time you'll learn that eating more than 1200 cal will not derail…
