Me too, I'm 5'2" and if I have any more calories than around 1200 I get chubs, plus I'm 46. I strained my back and sprained my ankle, so just get to focus on healing and nutrition. My current calorie goal is 1081 with 40% protein.

I read an article recently regarding post workout / recovery meal. It said to aim for 20-25 grams of protein AND 50 to 100 grams of carbs immediately following your workout. Two great options are 8 oz of low fat chocolate milk and a serving of Greek yogurt with strawberries and oatmeal.

Too much sitting at a desk all day and then coming home exhausted and sitting - doing this for twenty years, doesn't make it easy to move forward.
