What kind of education/experience the trainer has on nutrition? While weight loss is a result of calorie deficit, a good nutrionist/dietician can take into consideration a person’s food preferences, restrtictions, and general health and help suggest an eating plan easier to adhere to.

I think it comes from their own insecurity and unwillingness to become healthier. Your losing weight makes it hard for them to continue ignoring their own issues. Just do what you and your doctor think is right.

Same here! Anemic, low BP and low blood serum sodium. Have to watch everyhing I eat (to lose weight) with salty food as my only indulgence. When I work out, basically I have to listen to my body, push it against myself and not compare with others around.

Lots of greens? A tiny bit of pork and "pork derivatives", i.e., ham hock, Canadian bacon, etc. can flavor a huge pot of greens, which is very filling and have lots of antioxidants. You can also use chicken stock with a tiny drop of liquid smoke instead of pork.
