  • I'm in 1000-1200 per day range, and sometimes have a hard time eating even that much. I'm 65 and only 4'11" and am able to do only light exercise 5x week due to health issues. I've been gently losing weight over the past several years, down from 180+ to 131 today with a few pounds to go. :)
  • Great substitutes for traditional pasta include green lentil or black bean pastas. I use the brand name "Tolerant" and have found them excellent! Each one is organic and loaded with protein and fiber.
