Tonight my calorie limit would have abided either an apple for dessert, or a tiny peanut butter and chocolate truffle. I chose the apple because it actually sounded BETTER! I don’t even know who I am anymore.

Nachos plate on a high cal day ☺️

Discipline > Motivation. Push yourself when you don’t want to go - just do it anyway. The hardest part is just getting started. Push through it and eventually it becomes a habit/routine that you don’t feel right without.

Haha I did the same thing! Went from 146 to 150.2 literally overnight. Back down to 148 and I’m sure it’ll keep going down (also experiencing TOM).

I’ve been wearing size XL scrubs for the last four years and I just purchased SMALL pants and medium tops!! 🙌 😃

When I run on the treadmill, I always cover the time with a cloth so I don’t have to think about it. Usually when I have around 2-3 minutes left, I start glancing under the cloth to see how much time I have left and it’s a bit of a struggle at the end. Today when I went to look, I had passed my time by a minute and still…

Thanks for the input, everyone! I think I have the perfect storm of TOM and Thanksgiving coming all at once lol.

I stopped my cycle of weekly anguish by weighing daily and using happy scale. Now I know and understand my weight fluctuations. I barely bat an eye when I see my weight bounce around from day to day. In the long run, it’s a downward trend as long as you keep going and doing your best.

I learned something interesting. I used to weigh soup out of a can after cooking it- wrong. I knew that the soup would weigh less after cooking it due to evaporation, but I just recently realized that it’s only water weight that the soup lost (duh, lol...no calories there, obviously). If you don’t weigh items like canned…

Curious-how is everyone doing with their goals?

I’m a 33 year old female, height is 5’5”. I started at 200 lbs on March 6th of this year. My original goal was 150 and I hit that earlier this month!! I have a new goal of 140, I’m currently 146 (total of 54 lbs lost). Feeling amazing ☺️

Great thread! I’ve lost 51 lbs with another 9 to go. My belly is just now starting to appear visibly smaller.

I went from 5’6” to 5’5”. My first thought was how that changes my BMI and right after that I realized the ding it would make on my maintenance calories 🙃
-
Yea I lost an inch of height today as well 😩😆

Thank you! It’s still hard to wrap my head around it. The kitty litter that I buy comes in 20 lb jugs and they feel super heavy. I picked 2 of them up at the store and made the connection that I’ve actually lost 2 and a half of those, lol. I took a few steps with them and it felt so cumbersome. Crazy to think that weight…

I finished this program about a month ago and it was amazing!! It taught me to enjoy running. I used to absolutely hate it. Since finishing the program, I now run twice a week (in addition to my other exercises-circuit training and hiking) — just for fun and to stay in running shape. Excellent program! Good luck and enjoy!

Are you using a food scale? Also, 2 weeks isn’t long enough to see a real trend.

During the week, I eat back 50% or less of my exercise calories. During the weekend, I usually eat back all of my exercise calories and on one day (usually Friday or Saturday) I eat back all of my exercise calories and then some (those are usually 2000-2400 cal days). It’s working very well for me because it’s easy to be…
