I think she means reduce body fat on her abs since she mentioned cardio

To add to this, right now is a good time to gear a 20% off or more discount on a lot of running shoes since the new models will be coming out soon
-
It is basically a sub forum on the site reddit that discusses orange theory

You are better off using a seperate app and having that apps estimates added to mfp

Running can be terrible for your knees/legs if you do it wrong. You should look up running/knee problems. That being said I love running but just make sure you arent doing too much too soon and get the proper gear if you are going to be serious about it

In my years of experience lifting and running there isnt much problem with lifting and running on the same days. It really all depends on what you mean by lifting tho, if you are doing upper body and/or core exercises it shouldn't be a problem.

if you have trouble doing a normal pushup, do one but balance on your knees instead of your toes. That will remove some of your body weight and make it easier. And as you progress you can use your full body weight. You have to start somewhere

haha true, I have been wearing hoodies and sweat pants to try and get around it
-
I have been trying to build myself up to doing it more than 3 times a week but between that and running my body cant handle it, its great you jump at that level tho!

Compression socks might be what you are looking for! https://www.amazon.com/Compression-Socks/b?ie=UTF8&node=5006378011

Yeah finding an interval timer app helped me a lot. I had a jump count app but it was super outdated

Good job man

You can calculate your body fat percentage and keep track of it and it will let you know. Or better yet have your doctor do it

Yea it sounds good, some light indoor/outdoor cycling or elliptical could be alternatives as well. But yea i do understand, i think a lot of us have struggled with not doing too much too soon at some point especially starting off. I have been there and done that and suffered the results lol. You can check these threads out…

Yea https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1689726-how-do-i-link-or-unlink-myfitnesspal-with-apple-s-healthkit- It should be fixed by doing what is shown in that link. I think it may be a bit outdated, if you go to settings -> apps & devices in the myfitnesspal app you should be able to link
-
Fitbit will send that info if you have it(or if you are on the iphone Apple Health) connected to Myfitnesspal. If not you need to add them in the settings and it should automatically sync and show up under exercises

^^ doing what LivingTheLeandDream said is probably the best if you want to get a more accurate estimation of calories burned. Im sure their are apps who can help with this assuming you have a modern smartphone (one made in the last 5 years)

In all honestly like 3 of us have said you probably need to take it slower and rest. Doing too much will negatively impact your body, running, jogging, walking are all higher impact exercises that really can hurt your joints, bones and muscles if you dont give proper rest time. Stuff like socks/shoes can/will help but the…

You might need to incorporate rest days into your walking schedule, your shoes might be worn out and you can try walking on trails since dirt/grass is softer than pavement.
-
I think its a lot better than newer runners just going out there and buying whatever

You should check out a running store in your area. They will determine what type of runner you are and from there you will know what type of running shoe to get for your running style and feet. Proper running shoes differ from person to person but can be the key difference in avoiding injury. Running with the wrong shoes…

Its not weird for you to not be able to hit all your reps in your sets on the 2nd or 3rd set. Just keep at it and only move up weight when you are able to hit all the sets properly. Make sure your form is correct and that you are not just dropping the weights down when lowering them but actually slowly lowering the weights…

Sounds like you are jogging too fast, slow your pace down and dont be afraid to go "slow"

I just answered this somewhere else so ill post my take here as well. I have pretty much used all of the major running apps out the on ios over the last 6 years. The one that I have stuck with since 2015 is Nike Run Club. I mostly used it because you were able to set up running/walking challenges with friends over a…
