  • Outstanding job :)
  • When I started losing weight, I was 44DDDish and got the Zoe High Impact Sports Bra in XXL and the All Day Every Day Bra in XL. They were (and are) fabulous! Matter of fact, I am getting ready to buy the same ones in smaller sizes now. I absolutely recommend the Zoe for some serious holding power. The All Day Every Day…

  • Woot! Just hit a personal best for my deadlift today! I completed a 1x5@100lbs this afternoon - so excited!!
  • Sure is! I'm 47, 5'8.5ish and started at 301 as well. I've been doing CICO since March 2017 and I'm down 122lbs so far. I still want to lose about 17 - 20 lbs more and I know I'll get there eventually by making sure I'm in a calorie deficit while still eating what I love. You can do this!! Just weigh your food portions and…
  • Under 180 - Check!!! 120lbs down and under 180 - can hardly believe it!!! Continuing to work on the pull up with bands assisting. Next mini-goal: Under 167lbs and into the healthy BMI range!!
  • At the risk of a slight threadjack - thanks, @Danp! This phrase really struck a cord with me and puts into words how I handle situations like this.
  • Outstanding job! That would have been so difficult for me. You showed amazing restraint and willpower - well done!
  • So excited about this NSV! I haven't been able to wear my wedding rings for about 8 months now since, even with the little bar the jeweler put inside the ring, they would fly off my finger. I bought a simple band to wear about that time until I was ready to get my wedding rings resized. When the band started flying off my…
  • My (now Ex) husband when he looked at the scale one morning when I was weighing in: Boy, you're a lot heavier than you look :\
  • I can now do 5 sets of 5 big girl push ups at a time!! I do them after my 5x5 Stronglift workouts  Still working on the pull up but I have a feeling it will be a while until I get there. 6 more pounds and I'm under 180.
  • A Big Mac with french fries. Sigh. I would get some sweet and sour sauce and dip the fries and the Big Mac into it. Never mind that I would get massive heartburn after eating them, they just tasted sooooo good. Haven't had one since I started here, so around 450-ish days I think? Now though, I get heartburn just thinking…
  • I had two NSVs this week :) #1 - I went kayaking while on vacation in Myrtle Beach! This is huge for me, I have never done it before because I was too big to fit in the kayak. I didn't even worry about it beforehand, just plopped my behind in and fit VERY comfortably! AND we paddled for 2.5 hours and I wasn't winded or…
  • Woot!! Made it!!! Onederland, 100lbs lost AND I'm only Overweight now - the best trifecta EVER! Next mini-goals: Under 180, big girl push up (on my toes) and a pull up.
  • I find that to make this way of eating work for me (CICO), I have to be able to have some kind of chocolate and/or ice cream just about every night. It's kind of my way to wind down the evening and once I've eaten whatever treat i'm going to have, I will close out my diary. When I first started, it was half a pint…
  • That is OUTSTANDING!!! Well done!
  • Just to look at it another way, in the last 3 weeks, you have lost 1kg (2.2lbs) which averages out to .33kg(.73lbs) per week. Even if the scale hasn't moved in the last 2 weeks, that's a great rate of loss - especially as you were going for only .5kg/week. Keep going with what MFP has you doing, it's working!
  • One of the first things I ever wrote on my wall at the beginning of my weight loss journey was a mini-rant about getting emails from UA. Congrats, they said! You have logged for X Days - have a 20% off coupon code! Excellent, for the first time in 20 years I actually needed workout gear, yay!! But when I went to go get…
  • Onederland and 100lbs lost in about 8lbs. Happy Scales says by mid April - can't wait!!!
  • 2007 BMW R1200RT, love it :) My husband has a BMW R1150GS Adventure. I call his the Grumpy Old Troll, he calls mine my Pretty, Pretty Princess.
  • I love this! I'm so glad that this post was bumped and I was able to read it. You are such an inspiration - thank you!
