My knees, my hips, my back, my ankles. I’m 48 and walk like my grandma used to! My 80 year old mom puts me to shame. I want to be mobile and don’t want to be stuck on a scooter or wheelchair in 10 years. I need to face the reality that it may happen if I don’t smarten up.

That’s true. My husband walked by and asked “ is that all the sweet potatoes they sent?” And I realized that it was the perfect amount and we’ve been eating way too many sweet potatoes!

I don’t know why YOU would but myself and several coworkers are just loving it. Not a waste of money at all, we are eating delicious restaurant quality meals and all made from fresh ingredients. Nothing being bought and rotting in the fridge. Not eating out as much. It’s a no brainer really… It’s amazing.

Last night I made Last night I made seared Italian sausage with is really couscous and spinach! Who knew that I could cook such a thing? We had some cheese in our fridge so I sprinkled a little bit of extra on top. I ate half of mine for dinner and have her for lunch today. So far so good… And I’m very proud of myself.

Well… It was delicious! I made Moroccan Lamb patties on toasted Naan with Harissa aioli. I am very proud of myself as I would never have made this on my own without hello fresh. I’m excited about the cooking part. I’m not really good at it and my friends that do it say that they’ve learned a lot. I am more of a person who buys things just to heat up but now I’m excited that I’m going to be making it from scratch.

We also have a soda stream and I found a tiny bottles of flavours to add that have no sweetener in it. When we bought the soda Stream diet lemonade syrup all it taste like a sweet man.

Thanks everyone I know the Canadian ones are not bland as they come with lots of spices and flavour packets etc. The girl at work who uses it says all the recipes she has tried are really good. Hi everyone. I would like to lose about 80 pounds. That won’t make me skinny but will make me very happy and much more mobile. It will get me to 170-180 where I have not been in 20 years!

One interesting thing I learned from a trainer about carbs is only eat them if you need fuel. If you are going to be sitting at your desk or on the couch watching tv right after, then that’s not a good time to eat them. Their purpose is for energy and if you don’t se that energy then they are stored.

I don’t know much about the disease but I wish you well. I clicked on here because we just found out that our dog’s blood work is abnormal and one of the possibilities may be cushings disease. I was wondering what people have to say.

I have been losing weight with my iPhone steps. I will never lose weight with an extra 300 calories I wouldn’t imagine. Sorry if my information wasn’t what you were looking for, I was answering everyone in this thread by adding additional information.

Thanks everyone. I compared two days of walking. One of them was 6400 steps with my phone and I was given 100 extra calories. Today with just over 5000 Fitbit steps, I was given 348 extra calories. Because it’s added in to my total leftover calories, it’s hard to quickly know what I really have left. I hope that it does…
