Thank you so much. It’s been an amazing year. I just really want to keep momentum going (and this group really helps with that - I think I’d be maintaining more often without it). I really want to get into the normal BMI range this year (I don’t think I’ve ever had a normal BMI). It’s about 35lbs away now. All my goals…

I'm going to have to weigh in a day early as going away for the next few days. Current weight 186lbs - maintain. Easy to see why in terms of food. I havent logged snacks this week. Some awesome workouts this week though as know I'll have 5 days off now. Shaved another 20 seconds off the time it takes me to run a mile. This…

Weigh in day. 187 Struggling with all the temptation around at this time of year. Got in a few really good workouts this week.

I wouldn’t touch their “vip” deals where you have to sign up to paying monthly but Fabletics high waisted compression leggings are amazing. The 7/8 length is perfect for me at 5’3’’. They go up to a 3xl I think. Agree ASOS curve have some good bite and Nike plus range (some of it is available on ASOS) is good too.

Mini challenge Logged yes Under calories - no. Made some bad choices today with Christmas food that was around. Exercise - a little. Walking and housework.

Mini challenge Logged. Yep. In calories. Yes. Exercise. Yes.

Weigh in day Last week 190 This week 188.5 Going in the right direction but know I could have done more. Bar one dinner out with friends this week I have all my meals prepped. Need to make sure I’m consistently logging this week so will do the mini challenge.

A bit rubbish at remembering to log this week but had an awesome taekwondo session tonight and have done my food prep for the next few days. Weigh in on Monday. Also non scale victory. Bought the first UK size 12 I’ve bought for 20 years! Non stretch top and it is a tiny bit tight but 2 years ago I couldn’t fit in a…

Amazing. You look so healthy and happy. Well done.

Weigh in day. Last week 193.3 This week 191.8 Not a huge loss but predictable. I only made it to the gym once and had some social events where it’s really hard to track calories (total guesswork in fact). One night out this week - going for tapas, all other meals planned until Friday then up to the in laws for the weekend…

Weigh in day Last week 197.7 This week 193.3 Woo hoo! I’ve broken my plateau and on an on call week (usually such a trigger for stress eating). Prepped for the week ahead, should be able to get in a bit more exercise too. Being part of this group has helped me be accountable again - thank you!

Tracking yes Calories yes Exercise yes - legs bums and tums Too little protein today but have prepped and planned for the week with more protein to keep me full (it really helps stop me snacking)
-
Tracking no but don’t think I’ve done anything that would have sent me over (all pre planned meals and snacks) Exercise yes - 30 min run, 30 min weights
-
Tracking yes Calories yes Exercise 1.5 hours of taekwondo.
-
Tracking yes Calories yes but more cars and less protein than I usually aim for Exercise none today
-
Weigh in day. 197.7lbs. Slow movement in the right direction. I’m working the next 9 days on call so these are always tough weeks for staying on track so I’ve planned in my gym sessions and prepped most of the food too.

Sorry to ask - I can't remember what day I'm supposed to weigh in and can't see it on the thread. Is it the same day for everyone?

Hi Team, I'm Laura. I'm 34. I've lost 87lbs so far with 42 to go to goal weight. I exercise a lot - taekwondo, weightlifting and now running too. The bit I've slipped on is getting a decent protein intake and drinking enough water so will focus on this during this challenge and get back to logging regularly (havebeen lazy…

Well done on all your hard work and positive changes! Can I ask how tall you are? My starting weight was the same, down to 206 now, hoping to end up around 150.

This is a great idea and look forward to having a listen. I’ve started running post op and have gone from struggling to run a minute to running 20+ in 3 months. Not sure I’ll ever fancy doing a marathon but have my sights set on a couple of 5k this year and maybe a 10k next year.

Incredibly useful and inspiring post thank you. Parts of this I identify so much with especially that feeling of weight = self worth. I'm early in my journey (have lost 58lbs, which is a little under halfway of what I would like - aiming for a normal/ near normal BMI). I've discovered I don't mind running and set goals…

Hi MelliMoo. Welcome! We have very similar numbers. I’m the same height as you, started at about 280 (128.8kg) I’m about 255 now, aiming for 155. Good to meet people on the same journey! Laura

Thank you for sharing @anuwine I'm at the start of my VSG journey and terrified I will screw it up by returning to all my bad habits (emotional eating, binge eating etc). Do you have any advice having had your experiences?

I started taekwondo two years ago whilst at my heaviest, it’s helped me get fitter, make friends, deal with stress - I love it!

Hi LGL Austin. It’s on amazon.com but not co.uk and .com won’t deliver to the Uk. Am going to ask my dietician. Feeling a bit despondent as have lost so little so far (3 weeks post op, only 11lbs down). Did anyone else find this?

Hi Ladybug and LGLAustin. Thank you so much for your replies - nice knowing there are others out there who have been sleeved. I’ve got some Greek yoghurt and watering it down with a little milk. The genepro sounded ideal as you can add it to soup but I can’t find a UK stockists or anywhere that ships to the UK. I don’t…
