So I've only been doing this for a month but I've been happy with my results from just walking. I've lead a very sedentary lifestyle for the past 6 years and walking has been the only thing I could do that I'm not in pain afterwards. So far I've lost 8 pounds. I do plan to start some strength planning on the near future…

I feel great! I've been using the Pacer app on my phone to track my steps. I averaged about 1200 at work when I do nothing else. But since I started walking it's around 6000. Not sure how accurate it is but I have increased my activity quite a bit.

Thanks. I was asking because of the whole fat burning zone. But it's good to know it's not as important as I was thinking.

My goal is 6000 right now. I'm hitting it on walking days. The 2 days a week I take off though I'm lucky to hit 1000.

I have the pacer app but it doesn't seem to count all my steps. Maybe I just don't have it set right.

Oh no I haven't totally cut anything out! I know that doesn't work. Lol I allow one Or two things a day. Like yesterday I had a bag of chips. Today I've had a Twix bar. I just don't make it the bulk of my diet anymore.

I don't binge when I get off work. I'm usually to tired to. I do snack a bit at work but it's stuff like Apple slices or cantaloupe that I can just graze on between patients real quick. I'm just worried eating to few calories will make my metabolism drop.

I don't really want to eat the same things I'm used to eating. My diet before consisted of a lot of chips, chocolate, and fast food.

I'm kind of in the same boat. Until last week I lived in coffee and Mountain Dew. If I go for a full day without caffeine I get the biggest headache. What I'm doing is slowly tapering off. Last week I did one cup of coffee and replaced one Mountain Dew with a 20 ounce bottle of water. This week I'm doing my coffee and a 34…

I had mine taken out and the only thing I have a problem with is fatty foods and grease.

I based mine on my healthy bmi range. And that happens to be what I weighed before we had our 4th and last child.
