How old were you when you weighed 115 pounds?
-
To clarify>>>I believe maintaining healthy weight starts with how we learn to eat as children. Hence my focus on children.

Oh and mandate all cities to provide better/safer walk/bike routes to school. :)

Great topic. I would like to see more nutrition education for school aged children to teach them good eating habits and about macronutrients. Eliminate fried foods at schools (like fries, corn dogs, etc) and only serve non processed fresh food. Require schools to teach basic gardening and cooking. Free lunches in all…

i just mentioned this to my boyfriend and he heard about it as well on a podcast (he's not on it). He mentioned it's a mental challenge to get your body used to eating the same thing. And that the movie star , I think Kevin?, would just eat the potatoes plain. Good luck and let us know how it pans out for you. I love sweet…

Have your hormones checked such as thyroid and adrenal glands if you can. Maybe you’re not eating enojar for the amount of excercise. You may be stressing your body out & stress causes you to retain weight. Perhaps a few days of cardio and strength and add yoga. Your body takes longer to recover. We are now periomenolausal…

I have an 8oz glass of water with lemon juice and ACV to help with my body's acidity & improve my heart health every morning. snack ideas: prepare crunchy carrots with almond butter or celery with almond butter (or replace almond butter with hummus). sometimes i eat 1/2 a green apple with almonds. blueberries are a good snack. drinking water helps too. i tend to eat nuts (brazil, almonds) but sometimes I can over do it on the nuts.

for salad dressing i like to make my own with olive oil + balsamic vinegar+lemon juice.

Yes I would still support them. My mom was about 100 pounds overweight. She had breathing problems , could barley walk (had knee replacement ) , asthma, pre diabetes , poor sleep patterns and high stress. She would eat junk constantly and used food for comfort and de stressing . There were many times that I would tell her…

I'll be hitting two months on Thursday AF. It was a bit hard initially and now I see it as a challenge to see how long I can go without alcohol. My drinks were lemon juice & tequila or kombucha beer. I miss tequila once in a great while. As far as kombucha beer - I drank way too much of it last time & am over it. lol. I…

when i first started OTF i would hit the orange zone (first few months). but now i barely hit the green zone. i adjusted my heart rate monitor, the info for the heart rate monitor is set correctly. i increased the incline on the run and i was working it (this past Sat) but still no orange zone. i had the treadmill on 11,…

It’s a cross bike but I’ve been using it on the road. Great bike but do miss my BMC. That bike was the best!

hahaha....everyone has their opinion, right? i was simply trying to make a point to the initial poster of thread: eat well -->nutrition dense food, eat cake once in awhile, & spread the love.

does the sucrose make it processed? i think of processed differently. Basically all food we eat unless raw is considered process if you base it on your response. But when I think of processed I thing of "Industrial processing depending upon sugar, white flour, processed and hydrogenated oils, synthetic food additives and…

Raw butter is unprocessed, unheated, unpasteurized and unhomogenised butter fat which comes from cream. This means that raw butter contains all of the necessary vitamins and minerals that nature intended it to contain.
