I'm starting to see some abs (in good lighting  ) and I'm really close to weighing under 80kg.

I really start to like how I look in the mirror!

What an amazing difference! You look athletic! Congrats on the weightloss and good luck on the remaining 15

@CarvedTones I only needed to lose about 22 pounds to get there, and I feel like I'm at a very healthy position right now, but I'd like to see how much losing an extra 8 to 10 pounds would change my body visually. So I'll also stay eating at a deficit for about another month or so  but man am I excited to increase…

Thank you all and kudos to you too, @aliblain

It's funny how this works but reading your story and the way you found it in you to dedicate yourself to a better life also helps others to find it in them to do the same thing.. Including me! I'm glad you were able to get the control back over your life and your body. You look amazing and probably feel amazing as…

Your hard work pays off! You're getting amazing results! Keep at it!

Amazing transformations! :open_mouth:

Congratz!!

How much do they differ? I recently bought a very cheap one that has an integrated heart rate monitor. I have no idea how accurate the step counter is, but I bet it's pretty consistent compared to itself  so as long as I'm not comparing my steps to anyone else that might be using another step counter, I should be…

Nice work, man!! I bet you feel a lot better now!

Amazing transformation!! Congratulations!

From my own experience and what I've read about fitness exercises or "bodybuilding", if you want to see progress in weight lifting exercises, it's better to do less reps on a higher weight than more reps on a weight that is not *so* challenging to you. More reps will lead to higher endurance but will offer slower strength…

Waking up and getting ready for a morning run. Hoping to run 10k again

Welcome and good luck! have a carrot!

This. If you feel like you still have fat to lose in that region, then I suggest just exercising and eating at maintenance or slightly lower. But it might also just be the shape of your body. You could try growing muscle size in other regions (chest, back, shoulders, quads) so that your body regions feel more in proportion…

@Ardael that's the way to do it! When you feel like you're starving yourself, it's just not going to work in the long run. Eat (just a bit) more, find some foods to replace with better ones and exercise  Allow yourself to lose the weight at a slower pace, and treat yourself while you're actually changing your…

I ran 10k today, for the second time in my life. And I finally see my body changing, even though the scale is lagging behind

26 and only 15lbs away from my goal, but they're the hardest pounds to lose  anyone who wants some support can add me :-)

26 yo, trying to lose another 11 lbs (at least).. already lost about 15 lbs  trying to get a bit more lean, add me if you like!

For most people that are obese, doing a diet that limits you to 1200 calories is just a recipe for disaster. That is just too much of a deficit to be able to maintain for a long while without losing your mind. I'd add a couple of 100 calories, but focus on what types of food you eat. Try avoiding sugar, take away,…

I wouldn't stress too much about "not exercising enough". I truly believe that the only way to lose weight is to change eating habits. Slowly take away bad habits and turn your lifestyle into a healthy lifestyle.

Hi Amy  I'm 26 myself and also trying to get into a better shape. I've only started recently with my journey to get fit, but I'm already 15 lbs lighter than I was in the same period last year  My goal is to lose another 15 lbs to hopefully look like someone that really takes care of his body . How are…

Your motivations are really strong ones! They're the kind of ones that you won't forget fast and they'll really help you push to your goals. I also love that you haven't mentioned anything about "a goal weight". That makes me believe that your goal is more to get healthy/fit and be better looking (thinner) as a consequence…

You can do it! Maintaining your goal weight is hard, especially if you had a hard time losing the weight in the first place.. But with some help and motivation from MFP, it shouldn't be too difficult! ;-)
-
Good luck! don't forget that weight loss is a never ending adventure.. don't be scared to eat a little piece of cake, just limit the times you eat "bad" and maybe get some exercise to negate the damage ;-) you can do this!

I would wanna look like that at 41!! B) Nice job man!

Congratulations!! What an achievement!
