I try not to reward myself via food. I do it once every 3 weeks. Otherwise i reward myself with new gear for cycling. Sunglasses, shoes, helmet, bike parts, etc.

If you're full then stop. Mfp is just a guideline to follow. Mine is set to 1500 a day, but most days im full at the 1200 mark. It doesn't bother me at all. Mfp just wont let you save your daily food log and tell you that you havent had enough.

I would sign up if there was one by my home. Just because its cheap, they have machines i dont have, and pizza is great. On the otherhand i must diligently stick to my routine at home and stay away from greasy foods. I guess its a blessing i dont have one near me. Save money and stick to what works.

1. Fill the fridge with food that needs to be prepared in order to eat (no instant stuff). 2. Weigh your food. 3. Log what you will consume before eating. 4. Drink water if you're still hungry.

I like Strava over MMR, but you definitely invest in a Garmin with a power meter and hear rate monitor. The bundles go for about $500, but when they're on sale you can get em close to the $300's

Bike riding is an all weather sport. Check your local LBS to see if they have rain gear for you. I personally like the thin rain jackets that fit in the back pocket of my jersey. They keep me dry and they arent heavy. I also like to bring my splash guard so muc doesnt go flying everywhere as i tear through puddles.

My rest day is basically short 5 minute HIIT training with my body weight targeting abs and obliques and another 5 minute HIIT targeting traps. Most of my days consist of hard cardio so anything non cardio is a rest day.

I like to do intervals for about 30 miles up hills and on flats. Its all about how often and consistently you do this. When you get used to things maybe do 5 minute interval and 2 minutes rest. You will only get better the more you ride.
