The answer to this is... Yes.

Thanks! I'm also petite. I'm 5'2" and short waisted so trying to find a belt that fits has been hard.
-
Do you like this belt? Where did you end up getting it?

I did full body my first 6ish months of lifting and had great progress/results. After that I switched to an upper/lower split and I much prefer that routine. I have tried full body routines here and there and I just don't recover well from them. I like to change things up frequently so I find with my upper/lower split I…

I like dark to very dark roasts and I drink it black.

MFP is to be used by eating back your exercise calories. Personally I don't use mfp to measure my calorie intake, I use a TDEE calculator that has been incredibly accurate for me.

These are both good resources: https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/wiki/kb/recommended_routine http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/start-bodyweight-basic-routine.html?m=1

You should follow up with your doctor.

Another vote for recomp! Mine went down a lot, they are still there as that is where (and my lower belly) my body likes to hold on to fat. But neither area looks bad now.

Sometimes you just have to choose to do what you don't want to do. Do it for long enough and you'll develop a good habit.
-
Yes, look at this thread. I have a little bit of stubborn lower belly fat too. It's often the last place fat wants to come off.

I like that kind of six pack.

Calorie deficit and resistance training.

I workout in my home gym (in our spare bedroom) and outside if I'm walking, cycling, hiking, or swimming.
-
Good idea.
-
I did not know that, I will research more. Thanks.
-
I prefer to workout at home so my vote is that. You can get equipment for your home at decent prices of you buy used.

Your doctor or an exercise physiologist is who you should be getting this advice from.

If ibuprofen hurts your stomach you can try Tylenol. Icy-hot topical cream could help. I would suggest alternating hot and cold today.
-
Yes to all of this. If you don't want to lose weight you need to eat a maintenance not in a deficit.
-
Pizza and homemade cookies.
-
I'd give it a try.

I'm a mom but my kids are 5, 8, and 10. Currently not working but was a bedside nurse for 10 years. I'll be going back to school in August when my littlest starts kinder. But my life is still busy and it's hard to find balance.

Low vitamin D will absolutely cause fatigue and it can cause depression. Has your doctor prescribed you a supplement?
-
Is there a sport you would like to play? What about swimming or water aerobics?
-
I just read through the refeeds and diet breaks thread. I think I need to implement both of these into my plan.

I definitely wouldn't take an iron supplement without talking with a doctor. But there is no harm in taking a multivitamin that has iron in it.
-
Iron fortified cereal and low-fat milk. You could take a multivitamin with iron in it and a calcium/vit d supplement.

I hope it works out for you! I unfortunately have a heavy flow so I need the large cup.
