Hi, 36 yo mom to three kids. Just trying to lose the few pounds I put back on over the last year.
-
Mine broke a few months ago and the only thing I missed about it was checking the time, so I now wear a regular watch 😂

Thanks for all the replies! I have decided to add in some fitness based goals but they aren't aesthetic at all, which is where all my problems were coming from. I want to improve my push up and my chin up reps and maybe I'll go for a freestanding handstand (that was a goal from last year that I have up on).

I would say aerobics

I have tried the recommended routine on the bodyweightfitness subreddit, I think it's a great well rounded program. I'm probably going to give it a go again soon because I really enjoy calisthenics more than weight training.

Hi, feel free to add me!

My goals are to continue to maintain my weight. To workout at least 3x a week. To eat mindfully.

What is the name of the group?

Hi, I need/want to lose the 7 pounds I've slowly let creep back on over the last year or so. I'm also a mom and love sweets. Request sent.
-
Me too, I'll add you!

I think you look great right now. If you want to be bigger I would just keep running a lean bulk and then cut later if you need to.

These routines are good: https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/wiki/kb/recommended_routine http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/start-bodyweight-basic-routine.html?m=1

My shoulders.

I've been maintaining for about 2.5 years. I've had some small gains and drops over that time. Feel free to add me for support.

I'm 5'2" and weighed around 135lbs after having all of my children. This is a healthy BMI for my height but I was not healthy at this weight. In 2017 I lost around 20lbs and maintained a weight of 114-116lbs for a little over a year. But to maintain this weight I had to log every single calorie I ate. I worked out about…

I lift too. Not so much really heavy anymore but more medium weight and higher reps.

Yay! Congrats!

I think the walk at home videos are a great way to get started on your fitness journey.

Gin and tonic, wine, or a hard seltzer.

I love the passion fruit tea from Starbucks, I drink it unsweetened. I'm going to try and make my own to save money, so far I have not been able to find any at the grocery store that I like as much as the Starbucks.

Awesome job!

Different strokes for different folks 🤷

Chicken fajitas with the grilled veggies and just skip the tortilla.

Try and chew a piece of gum after eating, sometimes that helps me.

Cut up raw veggies.

How long in maintenance: 2 years Goal maintenance range: 114-118lb Current weight: 119.4lb Current goal: to get back into my maintenance range Recent success: I've been able to maintain slightly above above my goal with a very hectic life right now Strategy for your goal: quit snacking on junk, be active every day, and no…

I don't hate running but I think it hates me. I get pretty bad ankle pain from running. I've tried all kinds of different shoes. I've tried the treadmill, the road, and on a track. Always have the ankle pain, it's bilateral. I do enjoy walking, hiking, swimming, biking, and dancing for cardio.

These are both good for calisthenics and adding in progressive overload. https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/wiki/kb/recommended_routine http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/start-bodyweight-basic-routine.html?m=1

My stomach did get smaller with recomp. I think I really noticed the changes about six months in when I compared a photo of that time with one when I first hit my goal weight. So, take some progress photos and measurements and yes, be patient too.

I would walk, outside when the weather is nice. There are YouTube videos for walking at home that have you walk a mile in 15 minutes, I think her name is Leslie Simone. They are fun videos and a good option for when the weather is bad or if you just want to stay inside.
