@manderson27 I'm in my late 40s. Was totally unfit and low in weight at 167cm and under 52 kg. Started a 'lean bulk' together with SC. Am now 57kg and actually have some muscles. Just been diligent with SC and food intake. Nothing special really, still have my wine and other nice things.

I beg to differ that SC doesn't work.. This is after the beginners 12 weeks and advanced 12 weeks program. Still going strong. 💪

It would be nice if he would do that, even better if he supports you as much as possible but in the end it's what you put in your mouth. I have two teenage sons in the house and quickly realised it's me that needs adjusting as I couldn't ask them to do so. Now one of my sons has changed his food choices for the better…

Can't agree more! Over a year in and that part of life could not be better. The occasional hot flash is nothing... I guess I've been lucky, especially at 'only' 48. 😊

I'm 5'6, middle aged, following Strong Curves four days a week, mild cardio on the other three days. Eating 2600+ calories a day and barely gaining weight! I'm bulking and almost at 125 lbs. Yes, I am ravenous after lifting and simply would lose weight anywhere under 2400 calories. I suspect you can eat more than you think…

Picked up heavier dumbbells than two big guys next to me. We were doing one arm rows. Maybe they were taking it easy or something but it did make me smile. I'm a smallish lightweight woman. 😉

Interestingly my periods went from fairly regular to nearly non stop to completely gone for over a year now. Blood test at GP has confirmed the post menopausal stage. Hot flashes and brain fog still a thing though. Must admit that I often feel cold, so having two minutes of extreme heat is not a problem for me. (Just…
