Agreed. We all know that Brawndo (TM) has what the body craves.

No federal income taxes and SS... where do I sign?

Freedom... it's a helluva drug.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/340188-obesity-in-america-compared-to-europe/ The statistics show that European obesity isn't that much better than the U.S (63% vs 50%+) Not only that, a higher rate of Europeans smoke than Americans (28% vs 19%)…

I would say Texas, but it should really be considered its own country because the awesomeness is too much for a state to handle.

You'll get varying opinions about what's considered "processed" and what's not. Cooking, after all, could be considered a process. Personally, I eat anything and everything, while staying with my macros. I eat ice cream sandwiches daily, protein bars, diet soda, yogurt, ect... I've had good results and it's easier for me…

1 gram per pound of body weight isn't necessary. 0.82 is all you need, and that already has a decent margin of safety built in.

False... they are clothes racks. :)

Ice cream... it's always ice cream.

Placebo is a hell of a drug.

Probably because the costs of accuracy are more than the average customer is willing to pay.

Poison, uh? Anyway, your addiction to caffeine caused your headaches... not the soda (there are caffeine-free sodas after all).

You won't gain weight from working out more, that's just silly. Working out more could make you hungrier... which could encourage you to overeat though. If you're tracking your food properly, there shouldn't be a problem with lengthening your workouts.

I don't blame you. Marriage shouldn't change the relationship... and the "hard" questions should be asked and answered long before the engagement. People tend to think marriage will fix things, people are wrong.

If someone is controlling your life... you're doing it wrong. As for "answering to" how do you define that, and how is a boyfriend/girlfriend any different? When you care about someone, or they care about you, aren't you accountable to each other in some way?

I dunno, if I had to pick... death by ice cream might be the best way to go.

You don't seem to be logging consistently? I checked your diary, and there are a few days here and there where you only logged ~600 calories. (July 9th, July 14th, July 16th, July 19th). What were those days actually like? How do you know... if you didn't log it?

Pay down the one with the highest interest rate, while making minimum payments on the other. In my experience, balance transfers almost always cost money. It's usually not worth it, so I wouldn't worry about it. Carrying credit card debt simply to "build your credit" is not wise. I use credit cards for all of my…

You said tomorrow yesterday. There's never time to work out, you have to make time. It sucks, but I've never regretted going to the gym... but I almost always regret when I don't. EDIT: Fixed typo for grammar nazis

A pound of muscle weighs more than a pound of fat. Well, I guess you can't say that anymore.

4.5 years... so not long in my opinion. I'd rather my wife by sexy workout clothes... lingerie isn't much different than the standard anyway.

I just consider my daily and weekly deficit. If a cheat day/meal puts me over my calories... I check to see how many days of "normal" deficit I just negated... and consider if it's worth it or not. There's no correct answer... but just be aware how it affects your long term goals.
-
I'm probably the only guy who will say this... but I think it's a waste of money. It costs more than it probably should... and it only stays on for a short time.
-
Are you logging exercise or just food? EDIT: I'll go ahead and expand on it. If you're logging both exercise and food, you're probably over-estimating your burn from exercise... and possibly not logging you're food accurately. If you're logging just food... you're probably not logging it accurately.

I have cheat meals every once in a while... but I make sure to log it. I think it's important to log everything you can... that way you can get a realistic picture of your TDEE. I agree with bombshell, unlogged mayhem is the primary problem.

Any edge would likely be inconceivable, especially considering my training level. I have no illusions about that. I simply wanted to provide an alternative viewpoint on the subject. I admit that's exactly why I titled it the way I did. Whenever someone starts one of these threads, dozens of people come in regurgitating the…

I agree, and it's not my priority either. Like I mentioned in my other post, it will likely just keep me inclined to increase my meal size and decrease my frequency... but it's certainly not set in stone. Total calories are still my priority.
