Hi @LeannJeffers a couple of thoughts: 1. I've examined numerous "challenges" that have ended, and what I do is look for those people who met their goal, then I go back to the beginning of the thread and watch their journey. Without exception, every one of them had days of unexplainable weight gain, sometimes a significant…

Thank you. It's just work; I'm there twice a month. Back home now and will weigh tomorrow morning and find out the damage :).

When I eat Mexican food, I immediately ask for to go box, as soon as the food is served, and put half of my meal in it. I eat that other half later that day or the next day. But that's just me, so far I'm not changing what I eat, just the amounts of it.

Wow, the weight literally fell off of you! You're well below your goal weight. Incredible and well done!

Thanks @laurenebargar and @cosmo30 great to hear your methods. @laurenebargar we just sold our house, but previously had 3 buyers back out (well 2 actually, 1 buyer backed out twice) so I do understand. I hope you get a better house at a better price, these things seem to having a way of working out like that. Looking…

By the way, why don't we tell each other how we are losing weight in our posting of our numbers each day? For instance, I'm basically eating only when my stomach growls, indicating hunger. Some will say that is too late, that the metabolism has slowed down by that point, etc. but for me the indication that I'm actually…

Really looking forward to seeing our progress, @laurenebargar, let's go!

Great, @LeannJeffers, looking forward to 2 weeks of good eating, exercising if we can, and losing the weight.
-
How about we plan for cake after this 2 weeks is over? You can choose the amount, make it smaller than normal, then look forward to it.
-
Go @cosmo30, go! We're rooting for you!

Hi @RinnyLox welcome. Wow, losing 4 pounds in one day is amazing, plus you're nearly at goal. Well done.
-
Wait, you lost 3.3 pounds in one day? No fair running a marathon while fasting!
-
Great, hopefully we can watch each other's numbers go down, @seawinters.
-
Looking forward to seeing your progress @landryferguson.

I will also be gone from November 22 to November 24, my wife and I are going to Vancouver, BC to attend a "Air Supply" concert, so no weighing on those days :).

At the top of "this post?" I'm not seeing it. Can anyone suggest how to set a signature?

I thought the above was a marvelous statement/question. Eating properly is more about making sure we are in a small caloric deficit, rather than whether those calories have been processed or not. However, if eating processed foods lends us, as individuals, to overeat, then why not lean more toward unprocessed foods that…
